Are the terrorists taking notes?

    I believe they are.

    If there is a simultaneous terrorist attack (like 09/11 or worse, like nuclear) on even six major cities in the USA, that could be the end of our nation as we know it.

    The economy would be ruined, there would be an enormous loss of life, and there isn't enough national treasury or military presence or human resources to simultaneously keep law and order and tend to search, rescue, and human needs of water, food, and medicine, and hazmat precautions in all the areas affected. We will be reduced to a third world nation.

    I believe there are serious flaws in the response to Katrina at all levels of government. And I believe the terrorists are watching all of this with glee and taking notes. The Nation of Islam is already trying to recruit street gangs to join the jihad against the police in Los Angeles. This is a movement that may spread like wildfire, especially among thugs and those who resist authority.

    I believe 09/11 was a wakeup call to America. Now I believe Katrina may be a glimpse of what is in store for us in the not too distant future.

    God, in His mercy may spare His own people, those who are born again. Then again, if He chooses not to, are we prepared for what may happen? Torture and murder and persecution to Christians goes on all over the globe. Why should American Christians escape the sword?

    Of course the terrorists are taking notes, and strategizing, just as they have been for decades. The million dollar question is, Are WE?

    I pray this is not what is in store for us in the future. I have never seen people act in such a way as they did to the hurricane. If the focus was on one area and things went bad like they did, I would be afraid to even entertain the thought of what would happen if it were 6 or more. ONLY God could help us!

    But for the grace and omnipotence of God I would be in great fear after seeing how Americans behaved in NOLA over the last few days.

    Additionally, if Washington were destroyed, our government could be decapitated. I believe the line of presidential succession should include the Governors of the states, starting with Delaware (the first state) and running through Hawaii.

    Actually, MP, there is already a Shadow Government in place for the eventuality of that happening.

    And new quarters are again under ground.

    Since the old Green Brier Hotel was set up during the Cold War and was found out and has become a tourist attraction, new quarters had to be built and updated to state of the art. They are probably closer to Washington DC now.

    Of course, the terrorists are taking notes. They watch the public response to everything that happens. They judge our resolve in the war. They see our propensity to blame and complain. They do what every enemy has done before. They will attempt to exploit the weakness revealed.

    This has a prophetic ring to it. On the day God gives Israel "relief from suffering and turmoil and cruel bondage, you will take up this taunt against the (President of the USA). How the oppressor has come to an end! How his fury has ended! The LORD has broken the rod of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers, which in anger struck down peoples with unceasing blows, and in fury subdued nations with relentless aggression (Isa. 14:3-6,NIV)."

    Our history has many examples of subduing nations, recently Afganistan and Iraq, Iran and Syria could be next.

    The past leaders of the nations we destroyed "will all respond" from the grave: "You also have become weak, as we are; you have become like us" (v.10).

    As the result of America's collapse we will become a "third world nation" like they are.

    One way is to squander our wealth on international adventures, while we neglect things like levees in the homeland.

    Yes, the Shadow Government will be intact. It looks like the rest of us will have to fend for ourselves and on the Mercy of God.

    Perhaps this will cause one great last revival in our nation?

    They have a fleet of 747s on ready stand by for their escape, also a fleet of KC-135 arial tankers based at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean for refueling to the island of Tasmania.
