I'm not trying to be rude, but with all due respect if you feel this way why do you come back to the board?

If it bores you or makes you tired, don't come. It's quite simple. [IMG]

For me, I enjoy thinking and being challenged to consider new ideas and interpretations in order to grow in my understanding of the Word. I feel that this board sharpens me and keeps me on my toes theologically.

Plus, it's fun. I like the bandering, interaction and counterpoints of a debate board. It's like a hobby and it beats watching TV.

I appreciate all those on this board who participate, especially those who disagree with me theologically. They provide thought provoking discussion, entertainment, and occasionally humor to boot. :D I enjoy that.

It may be good to take a break from it for a while if you grow tired. Or try out another topic for discussion.

    Thanks for asking. [IMG] [IMG]

The Christian world hasn't been tired in 400 years. Many people on here have switched from Calvinism to Arminianism, and vice versa.

We must remember, however, that such discussions should not impair us from doing kingdom work. This board is merely icing to the "cake" of doing the will of God. If all of our time with God is spent trying to understand which side of the fence He is really on, then we will miss out on all that God has promised us - a life more abundant and free.

That is easy for you all to say but you are not the moderator... There is no rest for us... Pastor Larry and myself and yes I too love to debate doctrine... But sometimes some of these posts get awfully long and one loses interest... Post a long drawn out one and you lose half of the posters and to me that is boring.

If it is an interesting post I read it with gusto... And if it is long and drawn out just to make a point that could have been made in half the posts I lose interest quick... If it's a study in doctrine in a series format that is a different thing all together.

After awhile there is a burnout until a new topic or poster shows up... Until we get some new blood and new ideas things slow dowm and it is true we are worn out... Until we get a new burst of doctrinal energy... Anyway that is how this moderator sees it!... Brother Glen [IMG] & [IMG] Sister Charlotte [IMG]

I don't know how I can ever get tired of discussing this issue because I am grasped by the incredible thought that a Gracious God has chosen me through no merit of my own, and has given me life when I was dead, and is changing me by His power to become like Christ.

Thanks for welcoming me back brethren.

Now to answer the question. Sometimes I do think I am going to seed on this doctrine, but to tire of defending it I never have yet done. I do try to stay away from here and post in other forums in the attempt to prevent placing so much of my energy on this doctrine that I ignore the other truths of Scripture. The first rule of economics is equally applicable here.

    God Bless.
