If Iran was attempting to build a nuclear weapon that would be one thing. But there has been no rock solid evidence presented that it is.

Can we have proof before we start another war based on faulty evidence or no evidence?

Imagine all those lives saved if people had listened when news out of Germany was full of rumors that the Nazis were rounding up Jews, amassing arms and according to Einstein building an atom bomb. I hope that we have learned that when a rough nation slaughters its own and threatens its neighbors that there needs to be a nation that is willing to take a stand before WWIII can start.

We are fighting WW3 now. If we attack Iran, it will become WW4.

I wonder where the Bush administration thinks that it will get the money and manpower to fight a third simultaneous war.

If these United States are going to start a war with every nation whose leader merely says something that we don't like then we are going to need about a 100 million man arm forces.

Then how about we save it just for the countries that vow our destruction ?

I do not advocate going into every nation that spews venom at us or our allies. However I do not agree with appeasement. It is a tough choice is it not? To get involved or to let the bully beat up the weak one when we have the strength to subdue the attacker.
I as a manager of a 24 hour food store had authority to detain and restrain shop lifters during the late night hours. On some Friday nights the local response time for police was a good 30 min. I at times had to personally literally restrain many a riffraff until the police arrived. I even endured physical harm and distress but I would not let the thief go until he was secured.
I do not think that we can let go of Iraq and we can not let Iran have nukes. If we let go before Iraq is secure and then set back and let Iran develop a bomb, I'm afraid that the store will be lost.

What happens if one day the riffraf just happens to be more powerful, and you find yourself in a fix?

I might entertain your point if there was proof that Iran has violated the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty and is attempting to build a nuclear weapon.

Your side has been unable to provide such proof.

So do you think that we should have gone to war with the old Soviet Union? Or how about going to war with China today with nuclear weapons pointed at these United States?

No, you see folks on the "Bomb, bomb, bomb" side only want to go to war with weak countries that are pushovers militarily.

We didn't have to go to war with Russia. Reagan's military build-up made them chicken out. Great move, on his part.

China has said war with us is inevitable. Long before G.W.Bush, I might add. Does that make me a warmonger ?

You'll have to pray and look into your own heart in order to make that determination, brother.

Also, saying we want war is dishonest. We want peace in the mideast, probably even more than the peaceniks. We know the threat to peace in the mideast is Muslim aggression against Israel. Stop that, and you stop the crawl to WWIII. It's not the Jews blowing up funerals & pizza parlours.

Nobody on the baptistboard will be at fault if Iran gets bombed.

    "Your side" ??

Does that mean you are in favor of Iran developing nuclear weapons?

Since there is no proof that Iran is attempting to develop, or even wants, nuclear weapons your question is irrelevant at this time.

I really think that Ahmadinejad simply enjoys yanking the chain of folks like you with his outrageous statements.
