I was pleasently surprised too! But Broadman & Holman is apparently set to release a new 300 page book by John Piper titled "Brother's, We Are Not Professionals: A Plea to Pastors for Radical Ministry."

This oughta be GOOD! The book is due out in September.

Hope lots of SBC pastors read it.

Very good news. ALL SBC pastors would benefit from Piper.

I can't wait for the book. Piper was a contributor to the book Escape from Church, Inc. and this sounds like it might be along that same line. ( I think Glen Wagner was the author)

This book should cause us to start a new thread. Perhaps we should entitle it, "Brothers, are we professionals?"
