Is it just me, or does it seem like everything we talk about here in the Politics and Current Events forums eventually ends up on Fox News?

I have noticed this more and more lately.

Could the Baptist Board be shaping Fox News stories and American history?

I'm going to start keeping tabs on which BB threads are "reproduced" on Fox News.

There seems to be a lag time of about a week between an OP on the BB and a first airing on FN.

Dunno about all that but I can say that I've been reading about events on the internet sometimes months before the mainstream reports on them, if they report on them at all.

    Give us some examples.

We do talk about current events and popular politics, it is not strange that those things would be on the news.

Ya know, I've noticed that, too. I used to send news tips to O'Reilly and Sean Hannity but haven't done that for a long time. I say, good for them, if true. At least we keep on top of current events & politics at the BB. :)

Here's one example: We had a rather heated thread about Militant Black Agenda in Churches and Obama. That got covered just this week on FNC. :)

This was exactly the latest example that came to my mind.

Hannity and Colmes interviewed the reverend of that church in Illinois where Obama belongs about their "we will do 'such-and-such' for the Black community" church covenant.

I have often thought about this in the past when hearing BB topics discussed on FNC, but this was the most recent one.

Do you think they have a spy here?

Well, with the internet being a "terrorist tool" as they're telling us now it's probably safe to say we're being watched closely by somebody.

There is a reason for that. Faux News is simply another vehicle to get out the message, much like Limbaugh, Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and most of the radio programs from "America Right" on XM Radio.

Regards, hope all is well with you and yours,
    BiR

The WWW is the source these newsy's use, not the BB. Don't be disillusioned about that. They get their news subjects exactly where we do.
