    What the "thorny issues" are is not explained. Instead of starting with the things Baptists and Catholics have in common (there really are none), we need to be sharing the "truth" with the Catholics....that doesn't mean having "fellowship" with them (Romans 16:17) or "compromising" with them for the sake of "unity". (Ephesians 4)...our "unity" is to be based on God's Truth. That article is about as ecumenical as it can be.

    The only thing in common between both is the "players" (well, actually they add a player to the Godhead in Mary)...but the game is completely different.
