    Hi,

The purpose of this post is to get an idea of our representation among the countries we live in.

    Religious " sites " :
    40.000 catholic churches
    1685 mosquées
    957 protestant temples
    82 synaguogues

    In year 2006 :
65 % of the french declare to be catholics
    25 % agnostics
    6 % muslims
    2 % protestants (among which, 350000 evangelicals/pentacotists)
    750.000 " other christian " (orthodoxes, copts ...)
    600000 jews
    400000 buddhists
Special (considered a sect by many here, much debated) : 120.000 witnesses of Jehovah

So we, baptists are somewhere among the " evangelicals/pentacotists " in the french consideration of us. I'll try to find you more precise data.

There are a lot of state churches across Europe, including Roman Catholic, which dominate the countries. Baptists are low on the list as others.

    Cheers,

Yes, because we are in the days of "falling away from the faith."

Baptists still adhere more closely to scripture than others. I said it, so it must be true :tonofbricks:
