    Not that the poll will accomplish any thing, but just wondering how everybody else felt, including Baptists;

    That's funny.

Maybe this poll should be done by you and maybe more Baptists would feel at liberty to participate?

Course, maybe most of them just don't venture much in the other parts of the forum because they prefer the Baptists Only part of the forum?

May I ask you to place a poll in the Baptists Only part of the forum to see?

Just asking. I can take no for an answer. No, really. I can. I will not cry.

Course, so far... it does not look favourable.

Same reason I am against open primaries.

Dems and independents should not be allowed to vote in Rep primary

Rep and independents should not be allowed to vote in the Dem primary

I wish Baptists would consider before posting the topic if it is something that all christians can reply to before posting it in the proper forum.

Otherwise, it would be moot to invite non-Baptists into the forum at all. I understand it can serve as an outreach, but things like that is not helping.

Kind of a put off. Just saying.

I am not affiliated with any church denomenation now. I was former Presbyterian and if I would pick a church, it would be a church that recognize what Christ has done in me and not put any extra requirements on me as if more is necessary to join a church when I am already a member of His Church, the body of believers.

I can respect the votes in the poll, to keep any contrary teachings outside of the Baptists Only section of the forum, but don't be surprised if non-Baptists don't come here that much because they can't participate in fellowship with those Baptists on subjects not necessarily Baptists Only.

No big deal (from a former Baptist). It is their web site, their rules.

I voted for #3 to reply on topics in the Baptists Only part of the forum.

It would be nice if Baptists would consider if the topic they are posting is not necessarily Baptists Only when all christians could reply to it, and thus place the thread in the All Christian part of the forum.

But it looks like non-Baptists are not favoured to reply in the Baptists Only section of the forum in according to the poll as of now.

I understand the need to keep out contrary teachings that would deviate from what Baptist teach, but not all topics in the Baptists Only part of the forum pertains to that.

I had thought that if a non-Baptist behaved himself, he could be given permission unless at some certain time, he becomes contrary or misnehave that he would lose the right to post in the Baptists Only part of the forum.

But as it is, I would settle if Baptists would pause before posting a thread as to whethor or not it is a thread that all Christians can reply to before posting.

Mainly for non-Baptists to reply in the Baptists Only part of the forum.

    I voted # 3 BTW

It would be nice if Baptists would pause and reconsider if that thread they are about to post is indeed a Baptists Only topic or one that All Christians can reply to so as to post it in its proper forum.

I understand the need to keep out contrary teachings that would deviate from the Baptist's teachings, but not all topics in the Baptists Only part of the forum is really just for Baptists only.

Well, that kind of goes against the purpose of the Baptists Only forum then, doesn't it?

Then I fail to see why have any non-Baptists join if most Baptists are just going to post in the Baptists Only part of the forum on topics that is not necessarily for Baptists Only.

If the topic was entirely Baptists Only, I understand, but alot of those topics are not required to be Baptists Only to reply to when the topic applies to all christians.

I just looked and saw that there were 23,812 topics in the Baptist only section and 40,707 in the General section - not including the men's and women's forums. I'm sure you could find something of interesting in the 40,000, don't you?

Additionally, you DID join a BAPTIST board - and if you are not Baptist, you joined knowing that you could not post in those areas. You agreed to the TOS - it was your choice. So if this is an issue for you, why did you join here and not some other site?

You are being petty and silly. There are many areas on this board that are not baptist only. Be satisfied with that or leave. Your complaining will not get you into the baptist only sections.

Absolutely! I rarely post in the Baptist only sections unless I only want a Baptist perspective. The numbers I posted are total threads in each section - so yeah, I think so.

I just counted, only seven of the 25 most recent threads with activity fall under Baptist-only.

If you think an OP was wrong in where he decided to start his thread, PM him and ask him to try to have it moved.
    Moderators do move threads occasionally.

Active threads? Where there is alot of exchanges?

Like I said, don't be surprise if alot of non-Baptists are not participating.

And since you had judged me as being petty & silly, how would you judge Peter when separating himself and leading the rest of the Jews that believed in Jesus Christ from sitting with the Gentiles that believed in Jesus Christ?

    Petty & silly?

And you do not even know for sure that all of the Baptists that are replying in Baptists Only are really Baptists, now do you?

Just as we do not know that all those posting in the All Christians part of the forums are really believers in Jesus Christ or not.

Course, we are not to judge like that as to condemn someone as not a Baptist or not a believer in Jesus Christ, but judge the words and actions of a professed believer for corrections only.

I can see that the poll is a lost cause, but it is proving my point.

Thanks to every one for participating in the poll ( which there wasn't that many being how it is not in the Baptists Only part of the forum but in the All Christian part of the forum which pretty much testify of what?

That I am right. Hardly any activity over here unless a Baptist responds. We certainly hardly see any from the Non-Baptists members of the forum voting, now do we?

Was it petty & silly to invite all christians that are not officially Baptists in?

I still love you guys in Christ; FYI.

God be willing, I shall continue in the All Christians part of the forum for as long as He leads me to...

I'll stop being petty and silly now and just be content with His help.
