It seems that ever era has change that some like and some do not.
Some denominations are ordaining openly gay pastors too. Does that mean it's OK with God just because it's becoming more prominent?
I hope churches do ordain happy pastors, its the churches that ordain [email protected], that I am concerned about. ( see L.E.F.T. )
Ok, you got me! :tongue3: "Openly homosexual pastors".
Crabby, you should say the number of churches that are going apostate has doubled. Women pastors are clearly forbidden in the scripture. One has to do a good bit of twisting and reading between the lines to justify a woman being the pastor of a church. Nothing against women and thier leadership abilities. But, this isn't about personal capability. This is about obedience and following God's word. Clearly some are in stark disobedience.
Well they are finding their ways into Mainline churches. Not much to be worried with here since the churches they lead are not known for growth OR Fidelity to the biblical text.
There was an article rot too long that showed a study, where Churches women led were mostly in need of recovery or nurture.
Some will applaud the rejection of scripture by "modern" churches. Secular thinking, if you ask me.
