Bema Seat

    Should discipline be immediate as it was at the Bema Seat?

    Why do you ask, Saggy???? Have you done somethin' "naughty????" [​IMG] [​IMG] -----couldn't 'ave come from a nicer IFBer than you!!!!! You Double [​IMG] [​IMG] IFBer, you!!!! You mean by your subject title---as in Annias and Sapphire immediate, don't you???

    There is comeing a "Bema Seat"---if you would---where we will all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ and have our deeds done in the flesh judged "as by fire"----when THAT day comes---it will be immediate!!! Very immediate!!!

    But to tell you the honest truth??? This SBC preacher cannot honestly tell you why discipline is not so seemingly "immediate" in today's world.

    I was thinking about my trip to Greece. We went to Corinth, where they had a Bema area. The tour guide told us that the person facing judgment received immediate discipline.
