I thought we already went through this - the Barrett report has been released except for the testimony of certain witnesses who preferred that their testimony not be made public. Since witnesses are compelled to testify without counsel on personal matters that may or may not turn out to be relevent to the investigation, they are assured privacy. They are allowed to reveal their own testimony publicly if they choose, but the prosecutor must use discretion.

Ya know the drill, if it's reported by WND, it can't be assumed to be accurate until verified. However, it should be noted that the OP links is not a news story, it's a commentary, or op-ed. It's one person's opinion. Alas, the number of people who get their "news" or "facts" from the editorial sections of papers, blogs, and magazines is by no means small.

Investigating this would be fine with me if Bush is forced to answer four questions:

    1) Why weren't fighters dispatched in time to intercept the hijacked airliners on 9/11? I don't believe that that couldn't have happened around NYC and Washington or else we're a whole lot weaker than I thought we were.

    2) When you heard about the second WTC strike why did you continue reading a book about a pet goat for 15 minutes and what, if anything, did you do on 9/11 that helped protect our country?

    3) Why did Air Force 1 leave Tampa without a fighter escort when you claimed the country was under attack?

    4) Why did you allow those Saudi Princes to leave America on 9/12 when U.S. airspace was closed to everyone else?

Even if Bush gets away with the above, I'd still like to see that report.

My guess is, given the source, it's not much more than some old sour grapes and hopeful rumormongering.

But let's take a look at it.

And it would be O.K. with me, if we got to the bottom of Bush's rather odd behavior on 9/11.

There is no malfeasance in any of this. Just insert Clinton in for GWB and re ask the assertions. See!!! nothing to it.

Oh please SAN. Clinton is far more responsible for his irresponsibilities in the wall of seperation in the justice dept. and the mishandling of information leading to the 9-11 holocaust.
GWB had been in office less than a year.

George W. Bush was president on September 11, 2001 and the buck stops with him!
