ABC's George Stephanopoulos: "You were asked is he ready. You said 'I think he can be ready, but right now I don't believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.'" Sen. Biden: "I think that I stand by the statement." (ABC's, "This Week," 8/19/07)

That statement was made over a year ago. Senator Obama has been through a very, very tough campaign. He is quite ready to be president now. Besides, the alternative is Senator John Sidney McCain III, a warmonger, whose presidency would put the future of the United States as a world leader in grave jeopardy.

As expected from an Obama apologist who specializes in fearmongering about McCain.

I wonder how Biden explains Obama's mystical transformation into a viable presidential candidate? ;)

After all, Biden also said of Obama ""Having talking points on foreign policy doesn't get you there."

A year later Obama is now an expert? He still only has talking points.

Obviously, you haven't listened to Senator Obama's speeches nor read the details on the issues provided on his website.

Fortunately, Senator Biden does so less often than Senator John Sidney McCain III does.

So you believe that a "very, very tough campaign" qualifies one to be president? You have lower standards than any of us imagined. The campaign wasn't that tough, and he lost the popular vote didn't he? Even among Democrats, he was not the favorite candidate. He showed extremely poor judgment on many fronts in selecting Biden, thus showing yet again that he simply does not have what it takes to be president.

Senator John Sidney McCain III seems to believe that being a prisoner of war qualifies one to be president. Do you agree with him? I don't.

No, I don't agree with him if he thinks that, but I haven't seen any evidence that he thinks that. Perhaps I have missed it.

Why the "John Sidney McCain III"? Why not just McCain?

Going through a campaign makes one ready to become POTUS? What?

That's the most ridiculous thing I have heard. I guess if I want to become CEO of microsoft, I only need to hit the campaign trail

I have. How many promises has he backed off ? What does it matter what he says, when he flip-flops around almost as much as you do ?

People being mean to BHO, making fun of his ears & middle name has toughened up Obama to the point where he can lead. But McCain's torture at the hands of an enemy means nothing.

Have you seen or read his answer on Jay Leno's how last night about not knowing how many houses his family owns? Rudy Giuliani sentences were a noun, a verb, and 9/11, as Senator Biden pointed out during the primaries. Senator McCain's sentences have become a noun, a verb, and "I was a prisoner of war".

McCain has been very quiet about his experiences as a POW. Democrats are strident about it.

McCain has also been very quiet about his Marine son in Iraq and another son in a military academy.

Serving their country seems to be in the McCain genes.

Associating with communists and known terrorists seems to run strong in the Obama genes.

    The McCains make better citizens.

    No.

Senator Biden was lying. I heard Guiliani speak many times and his sentences were much more than that. (BTW, that is why Biden will be a drag on Obama.)

I haven't watched everything he said, but I watched a good deal of the RW interview, and some other stuff, and he appeals to it now and then, but overall not very often. To say what you have said is simply not true.

Yes, it is true. Apparently, Pastor Larry, you have a difficult time accepting facts at times.
