I may look foolish to the world, but fortunately I am not judged in the same manner by God.

The mirror of God's Word declares the same truth I have spoken, so you must be calling God's Word foolish.

Nope. Just you and your opinion of God's Word.

    Ok, SFIC, please answer this:

Do you believe that I am not truly saved because I would not vote for prohibition?
Not only that but I have an occaisonal drink?

Please be honest. Don't weasle out.
If you have any concern for other souls rather than your own piety, please, just be honest and say what you mean.

I am asking straight up. I don't think you will be breaking any BB rules by answering.

I will vouch for you if you have any problems with the mods.

God wants to see that shed blood, but unfortunately, He will not... not if one is walking in the lust of the flesh.

As in the few selected verses he chooses to quote.
If he would even quote the whole passage of his favorite verse, it would blow his argument out of the water.
I have read the whole passage.
    And may others.

Spit it out SFIC, do you believe that I am not truly saved? That I am walking purely in the lusts of the flesh?
That I am on the side of satan?
    I am asking you.
I don't think anyone can accuse you of breaking the BB rules for answering a direct question.

    Yeah, right, what?
    Do you or don't you?
I am not trying to get your suspended, I am just wanting you to be honest. I want to know what you really think.
Please stop beating around the bush.

I don't moderate this thread, but as a mere member here could we please not turn this thread into another one on this issue where people's view of God's word is brought into question because of a different view on the issue?

    On Billy Sunday.

We can learn from him in many ways. Criticism is not an attack. My point earlier was that though he might have had a great public ministry he failed with his kids. What a lesson and a warning for us. If he could speak to us from heaven above I am sure He would have us to heed that warning.

    I'll say it.

I see in your posts self will, self love, and a disregard for your weaker brethren (not speaking of SFIC here).

I see no desire on your part to do what is good with regard to alcohol. We're told plainly, It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. We're NOT told anywhere that it is good to defend the right of anyone to drink alcohol in moderation or otherwise.

Those who love Christ do His works. They will lay down their lives for the sake of Christ's friends, and especially his weaker sheep. I don't that you're willing to lay down your life in the area of alcohol.

Where Caesar asks for your vote, you should render that to him as an instrument of righteousness in support of the weak.

Can I say you're unsaved? No, but I can say you're only a babe in Christ, because you don't appear to have much love for Him.

    There. You asked.

thanks for your honesty. I truly appreciate it.

As for not offending people, just thi morning ai refrained from putting alcoholic creamer in my coffee to avoid offending friends that were over.

This is a public debate forum.
it is for debate of doctrinal issues.

Failing to use scripture or even name Christ in a sermoon is a serious offense.

I would much rather offend SFIC than Christ.
I don't think I am going to pursuade SFIC to violate his consience.

I thought it would be nasty too but my wife liked it.
It is called Bailey's Irish Creme and is actually good.

I was typing on the keyboard of my 7 inch laptop :)

Typos are more frequent here :)

Tearing down a man of God and disparaging his family because he preaches against your pet sin is is quite serious.
