Tragic: These shows have great family appeal..... but most especially for Dad-son attendance: Sort of a rite of manhood, attending these events together.

His family and friends in my prayers.

I fear now more crowd protection will be put in place to the point it will be best to watch from the house on the tube.

My prayers to the family also, I can't imagine loosing my 6 year old child but I pray the Lord gives them the strength to live on.

"Real" Christians love "sports" that promote destruction, injury, and death.
It would be economic stimulus to bring back fights to the death in the arena. Felons could fight and be given a monitored freedom after 20 kills. Admission could start at $100. Every seat would be filled. A new sports stadium could be paid off in a very few years.

Every death would save the taxpayers $50,000/year. One arena in each state would save the taxpayers $25,000,000/month if each had one event per month. Texas would have one every Sunday.

If you would get down off of your high horse you would see that no one is advocating killing here. It was a tragic accident- the purpose of monster truck shows is not to kill people.

Why not just shoot or hang them if all you want to do is save taxpayers dollars.

Billwald's MO is to post off-topic, inflammatory non-sequitirs.

I don't recall him discussing anything he posts, nor do I recall many of his posts that were pertinent to the topic.
