    Those dogs are nasty to eveybody, are you kidding me? My brother has one and it is the nastiest creature I have ever met. For some reason the dog hates the heels of my shoes. They are known to hate children and bite when frightened. They hate everyone's character.

    Well that doesnt surprise me. The world is getting worse and worse. Besides you are a school teacher and you are told by the NEA who to vote for and your dues goes to support the Democratic party.

    This is a lie. Our two chihuahuas are friendly to most people, but they would probably attack you.

    Wrong on both accounts! It would be nice for you to find out the facts before you spout off! BTW, I've never been a member of the NEA, although I see nothing wrong with being a member. If I were still teaching school, I would probably join.

    It amazes me. The only person that manages to mix it up with liberals and conservatives. Must be a dead poet thingy.

    About six months ago or so the Secular Coalition for America, which is a national lobby representing the interests of atheists, humanists, free-thinkers and other non-theists, held a contest awarding $1000 to the person who could identify the highest ranking "non-theist" office holder in the United States.

    The Secular Coalition for America is the only organization in the nation whose primary purpose is lobbying Congress on behalf of atheists, humanists, freethinkers, and other nontheistic Americans. From our office in the nation's capital, our full-time lobbyist and support staff engage public policy makers and the media on issues ranging from religion's influence on education and medical research to the privileging of faith groups by government. We are the first and only cooperative venture of eight member organizations coming together to improve the political situation of a previously unrepresented constituency: the tens of millions of atheists and agnostics in the United States.http://www.secular.org/

    Would you like to guess which party was represented? Rep Peter Stark (Dem CA) was nominated and after an inquiry was made he confessed his disbelief.

    "When the Secular Coalition asked me to complete a survey on my religious beliefs, I indicated that I am a Unitarian who does not believe in a supreme being," Stark said in a statement.

    He proudly declared he would push an agenda conforming to nontheistic doctrine. "I look forward to working with the Secular Coalition to stop the promotion of narrow religious beliefs in science, marriage contracts, the military and provisions of social services," he said.


    On the House side, Stark was one of only eight members who earned a 100 percent rating from the Secular Coalition. The other seven were also liberal Democrats. Here, again, the coalition scored only 10 votes, which included the marriage amendment and federal funding for research that kills human embryos.     So not only can Christians not be Democrats, now Lutherans & Methodists are not Christian. BWAAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!! :laugh:

    It refutes what has been said to my face two times by professing Christians, that you can't be a Christian if you're a Democrat.

    Every Christian that I know, who studies the bible & regularly attends church, the ones that tithe, the ones that I know love the Lord, lean to the right.

    It's only the liberal ones, the ones to whom regular church attendance isn't all that important, the ones who tell me evolution & Genesis are basically saying the same thing, that homosexuality isn't a big deal, are the democrat voting block.

    My experience differs from yours.

    That is bizarre, because it's usually the right-wingers in my world who are the ones that do not attend church regularly. Many of them talk the talk, but do not walk the walk. More often than not, the liberals I know are more likely to attend church on a regular basis. That is not to say that it is always the case, but quite often it is.
