Pet projects? You mean like merging the USA with Canada and Mexico and abolishing the national borders in favor of a "security perimeter" around all three countries? C'mon look at the facts. The people who really run this country...not Bush, not congress but transnational corporations, international central bankers and the military industrial complex want a North American Union.

And they aim to get it by hook or by crook. Bush is a puppet that's all he is...he has no real power other than that granted to him from his fathers NWO buddies.

Lord forgive me, but i still have to chuckle at the Bush picture and the reference to Rev. Not that I believe it is true of Rev, but the wise crack was funny. Sorry!

The North American Union is well on it's way to becoming a reality. The fact that the borders remain unsecured after seven years is a pretty good indication that the "global war on terror" is a scam.

On September 11th Colin Powell was in Peru with the rest of the ‘ministers' of the Organization of American States which has been forming since 1959. All of the member states of the OAS were in attendance to sign the Inter-American Democratic Charter which was a groundbreaking document for cementing the globalist policies such as the Inter-American system that puts the United States under International Law and standardizes English, Spanish, Portuguese and French as official languages for member states. The OAS has tentacles that reach deeper than the SPP and it also has a very United Nations like structure with a permanent council and general assembly.

Secretary Powell should be credited for signing the Inter-American Democratic Charter in Lima, but what does that act mean when others in the Administration support a coup d'etat in Venezuela, only to be chastised by the rest of the inter-American community? What does our declared support for democracy mean when U.S. Ambassadors take sides in a presidential election in Bolivia and El Salvador? Does this Administration not realize that Latin Americans remain suspicious of U.S. declarations on democracy because we sometimes undermined democratically-elected leaders, who were anti-American?

Let me request that you consider a second hearing specifically on North America and look beyond NAFTA to the issue of integration and policy coordination. There is much to be learned from the European experience - both in terms of what we should adapt and what we should avoid. Beyond that, Congress could take the lead in merging the two bilateral parliamentary commissions with Mexico and Canada to create a new Inter-Parliamentary Group on North America[3] that could consider new initiatives, including a North American passport, a Customs Union, a Permanent Court on Trade and Investment to replace the ad hoc dispute settlement mechanism, and a North American Plan for Infrastructure and Transportation. -Robert Pastor​

I like the fact that he signed the partial birth amendment that Clinton would not and the judges he has sent for approval. And what a shame how the democrats attacked such highly qualified people for the job.

He also gave millions a chance to be free in Iraq, which now seems to be succeeding since you don't hear much on it anymore in the mainstream media. They don't want to report about it anymore because it now looks like Bush was right on hanging in there. It now makes Obama look very bad for opposing perserverance.

We (C&MA) have established churches now in Iraq and have received video testimonies of how some are receiving Jesus Christ as their Saviour. It is slow, but is growing. It makes your heart melt to see some of these former muslims worshipping Jesus Christ and thanking the USA for coming to their rescue. You won't find these stories on the public news stations.

Folks don't see the "bigger" picture about the US in Iraq. God has a plan and we are there for God's purposes.

Bush is Da Man, man!

I agree Capro...no one will give Bush any Kudos for this fact, but, we have been terror free since 9/11, and that was a feat worth praise, yet, he gets "dinged" but the bushwhackers and bush-haters of this world.

Well, I say "Nay!" to their vote for giving up in Iraq. Bush has done a great job of protecting this country during his watch. After all, the truth about 9/11 has to be laid at the feet of Clinton. So, I wonder how long we'll go without another attack on American soil when BHO becomes our "gutless" leader. The day he gives Iraq back to Al Quaida is the day America is burned by the terrorist once again.

 

And I predict the "terrorists" will either have ties to the FBI or CIA as in most other "high profile" cases in the past. The "terrorists" will provide Obama with the same "man on the white horse" status as they did for Bush causing Americans to rally behind the president and provide the perfect excuse for more big brother government and even more extraordinary presidential powers. Cui bono?

 

And then Elvis will ride down on his UFO and smite the terrorists at the CIA, and will abduct Neil Armstrong and take him to the moon, since he never really went there in the first place. Then President Obama will order stepped up spraying of chemtrails from commercial aircraft to place a mind control mist over every American city so he can get us to vote for union with Canada, Mexico, and Albania. We won't be able to leave, because our dollars will be worthless as the Greek sandwich, the Gyro, becomes our universal currency. Fortunately, Superman will just be returning to earth with the Super Friends, and they will once again save the day.

 

Both are public figures. Bush is not an idiot. He's probably even smarter than you & me. You are being inconsistent, once again. happens a lot, I'm glad someone besides me is pointing it out to you.

No, it's a "rally behind the president comment" all it takes is a sudden threat to security to send people midlessly following crazy people to war...Hermann Goering style you know the deal right? Well you got the "denouncing the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to greater danger" part down pat anyways.

It's a standard "republican" talking point today.

Bush is not leaving the country as good as it was handed to him and in my gut I think he really doesn't care he is just trying to survive.

 

He was handed a recession, shortly after there was 911.
