My guy, Scott Garrett, well he is ****Moderator insert****(useless and is) a republican & against BO so we here in the Garden State (at least in my neck of the woods) will give this the thumbs down.
So now Aaron is spamming BB. Great.
Better put him on your ignore list and start attacking him personally. There's no specific rule against it so why not, right?
Why would anyone waste their time calling Congress? They are more inept than the Executive Branch.
My wife knows our representative personally having gone to school with him...so she thinks she is making a difference. Lol....all she gets back are form letters.:BangHead:
I am represented by Senators Kristen Gillibrand (D-NY) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY). :tonofbricks:
In the 18th Century the slogan "No taxation without representation" expressed the early settlers grievances against British rule. Nearly 230 years later, I've come to realize that taxation with representation ain't so hot either.
His favorite past time.
:applause: :applause:
Congrats, I will trade you a Schumer for a McConnell.
Do they ever get up your way.....IN THE WINTER.
Call Your Congressmen
What would you like me to call him?
You're a Baptist. Use approved language.
They like to believe that they still have some say over what the government does in our name. Congressmen only listen to those who can fill their campaign coffers. There may be few exceptions but . . .
I don't think the real problem is ineptitude. It's greed and corruption. Most of them have sold their souls to the highest bidder. Next time you see a congressman or senator in front of the camera look at their eyes and body language. They look like undead zombies.
I just keep going back to Cicero's condemnation .... "politicians are not born, they are excreted " that about sums it up.
I like it! Perfectly acceptable in most Baptist circles!
I called my Congressman and said I want to be frank with you, and he said "I thought you were Mike."
I thought he might say, "Homie don't roll that way."
(A reference to Barney)
You can't be Mike ... I am!
