    Neither is cholesterol, airplanes, automobiles, ocean tides, democracy or a whole host of other things. What is your point?

    I think I understand what the quote means. It's like saying that if we say we believe in the trustworthiness of the Bible, we ought not to be pointing out the places where we (wrongly) believe there are errors in it. It's perfectly logical...

    I would add it's a great one for Al Gore & the rest of the global warming alarmists, that they shouldn't preach carbon footprint reduction while living the lifestyles they do. So C.T.Boy's quote does work.

    One shouldn't preach evironmentalism while flying to a global warming summit in a private jet or enjoying a cocktail sitting in the living room of a home that is obviously bigger than needed.
