    Just curious...

Are there any similarities (and differences) between the Celtic church of Scotland, Wales, and Ireland (prior to Roman takeover circa 600 A.D.) and the early Baptist church?

I assume you mean the takeover of the Roman papacy. The Romans landed in Britain centuries before 600.

From what I have read (and that is minuscule), the Celtic churches doctrinally very close to the RCC just like the Eastern or Byzantine Orthodox Church. They like the EOC differed with the RCC in their non-recognition of primacy the Pope in Rome.
