    Judith,
    China is a real mystery factor in the Korean conflict. Back during the 60s, it was a close North Korean ally, and a bitter enemy of ours. That has changed today, as they appear to be neutral or a backer of a possible UN resolution. It is really hard to figure them out. I still would not trust them. It is hard to imagine them helping get rid of the North Korean regime. IMO, the US had better be very leary of China in any conflict on the Korean pennsula.
