    Indeed.

And that would exclude Mary, too.

And you feel like that distinction is important for this conversation why?

Ok what I mean is how does it add to it. The purpose in posting that is not obvious to me. Why is that important to you?

Of course there is a distinction. Of course we do not worship the Bible.

Yet Jesus and the scriptures can both be found to be "logos", can they not? As pointed out in my link?

The quote in the OP said the Bible was not the "word". I was merely showing where this was not true.

It's difficult to make that comparison, and I don't think it's a valid comparison, because scripture doesn't use the Greek "logos" when referring to ink on parchment.

The Bible is not just ink on parchment but your low view of scripture is noted.

You have used this characterization of me and others before, although you are completely clueless about me. Just so I can know whether to take your remark as a compliment or an insult, tell me what you mean by a low view of scripture.

But does the Bible actually use "logos" in Ephesians 6:17?

Just what verses of scripture would Christ contradict?

The same Jesus who is the Lord also commissioned His Apostle and prophets thru the ministry of the Holy spirit to record down to us the very words of the Lord, so rhw written word and the living word are essentially the same, as the Bible is just the same as :thus sayith Jesus"
