Church and State in the Original 13 Colonies

    Yes, but this is not the country of the 13 colonies. We have had 3 revolutions since then. In 1776, a peaceful revolution when the Articles of Confederation, and Lincoln's War.

    I suppose my point is that the thread title is disingenuous and polemic. It would be like writing, "Interesting chart about Germany under Bismark before the establishment of the Federal Republic of Germany".


    There was several generations and two nations between the 13 colonies and "the seperation of Church and State." The point of revolution is that things change.
