Civillian fast food joints may leave military bases

    This is another example of the insanity of the federals. You do not raise prices in a recession/depression. The military is as broke as the rest of us and they do not need to pay a premium for a fast food meal. The idea that a restaurant can absorb high wages without raising the price of food is nuts. Why should owners work for nothing?


    Actually with all the illegals in the country and the US Chamber of Commerce demanding even more cheap labor, wages should be lowered to employ all of the people wanting work. The iron law of wages, which the Democrats cannot repeal, is that wages will be pushed to the floor for all workers.

    The federal government has tried to micromanage the free market and it has been a disaster for years. Nothing that the federal government does works well in comparison to the free market. Examples of federal failures are Veterans Hospitals and the antiquated Post Office.
