Sue, I am up most mornings about half four or half five at latest. Just not always on here.

By the way, if Sheila had been a Cockney girl, she would 'ave called those swedes "neeps". [IMG]

    Cheers,

    Jim

I just got a call from the Director of USDA in our town after he 'inspected' the dead bugs I left him yesterday. Woo Hoo! PTL! They are NOT termites; but flying ants. A much less costly colony to exterminate!

Jim; I know you get up early just like I do. I haven't been coming online as soon as I get up either lately. I force myself to make the bed first! [IMG]

Sue, I'm thinking of heading to a few sales myself this weekend and today. I'll keep my eye open for the "soup kids" for you too!

Oh, You All are making me hungry!! I'm on my way to the grocery store.

I'm not a morning person, but if I told you what I have done this morning...You would get tired..because I am. I am on a cleaning roll and you know what I have lost eight pounds. Something about exercise...

I had to stop throwing stuff out... Polycarts are full. Do you have Polycarts? We are limited to what will fit in those carts. What I need is a dumpster.

See you all later... I'm going to watch my favorite TV show..

FYG: thank you soooo much! Ebay has a lot of items; but you would not believe the prices they go for!!! I have gotten a few, but not many...

Well, I'm going to vacuum up the dead bodies of all these flying ants....there must be over 100 of them! They're not coming in anymore though, someone must have told them I was 'armed' with two cans of hairspray! :D

    Sheila: CONGRATULATIONS! <you go girl>.

Betty: You think that's my problem? I don't mind dieting, but I don't do exercise! We have small dumpsters, but if they get full, we can set stuff out next to them (not garbage though).

Sue, we can't put anything beside our "little dumpster" (polycart). We have a twice a year pickup for stuff, but we missed that. It was before I got the "throwing out" bug. No not the throwing up but throwing out bug. ;) I don't get it very often. [IMG]

Sue, I'll keep that in mind, see them sometimes. ll I bought today was some little condiment cups for my son, he dips everything, and if you can't dip it he doesn't eat it.

WTG Sheila, [IMG] bet your glad you didn't quit now.

Katie, thank you [IMG] did you have a good time browsing? Our American guests found what they called a yard sale at a village we took them to. It was actually a charity sale in the grounds of a church if I remember correctly, but they called it a yard sale. Got a lot to learn I think :D

    Blessings

I'm traveling to Oswego, NY on Saturday. Three 1/2 hour drive. Can't wait to here "are we there yet". Daddy this drive is taking forever(after 20 minutes)

I am preaching twice and sharing the ministry once. Preaching one time drains my energy. I am running a preaching marathon this week end [IMG] . [IMG]

Well goodness me it's hard to post to this thread. I say one thing and come back the next day and there are just too many pages of posts to read.

From what I gather you people in the middle and other side of the country eat much differently than we do in the west.

Out here it's seafood and skinless, boneless baked chicken and lots of salad and fresh veggies. I don't cook with oil, but I do use salad dressing on salads and mayo on sandwiches.

The only thing I read that made my mouth water was the Croissants. I don't eat them too often, but they are sure delicious. I like to cut them in half, spread a little mayo and hot honey mustard on it with avacado, tomato, red onion and lettus . Add a little Pepper, (no added table salt.) That's my idea of a yummy sandwich. [IMG]

I'll have to get some tomorrow when I go to the market. I made myself hungry. :D

    Good evening every one.

Had a short day at work - only six hours - then went to Elmira to see an endocrinologist who is affliated with the Joslin Diabetes Center.

Fairly good news - she didn't change the diabetic medicine I am currently taking - but she added a new med to help with carbs.

Have a little loss of feeling in my feet - need to lose a bunch of weight - but had a great blood pressure 114 over 60 - which was better than Jan's when she saw her doctor on Tuesday.

Gwenyth, the jam sounds wonderful, love strawberry, have never been successful making it though.

Sheila, thats a yard sales, people set their stuff up out in the yard , tables hopefully, sometime some the ground, sometimes it's in the basement or garage. Lots of fun buying treasures, I get a lot of doll making accessoeies stuffs there.
