Dan, what are you doing with a picture of our dog, Muffin. Isn't he adorable? He laughs at us, too.

Betty, on a larger version (of which I cannot post here - due to the BB Posting Rules) looks much better, for you can see the lights on the tree. [IMG]

Oh that is SO beautiful! I just love the snow. I'm cold in here today tho! The stove had not been cleaned out and I had to do that first thing. Bad day to wear tan dockers! Now I have soot all down one leg and on my cream colored sweater! LOL

At least I'm just sitting behind a desk. Funny..... the day seemed to go quicker in the antique shop even tho I had no computer. I had all those lovely things to look at and also had customers. Here, I've had 2 personal phone calls for the owner who is out of town and the mail lady dropped off some junk mail. LOL

It's going to be a LONG day! Someone needs to entertain me!

Sue, that's why we have firewalls on our computers. We have a virus check and the firewall. Something is always attacking our computers, but so far the firewall has caught and stopped it.

Hope you get it straightened out.

Sue, Sam says try www.download.com and look for "system mechanic" and download that, which should "sort it out" Sam says .

    Bye for now,

    Blessings

Well I DON'T like this firewall on this computer! It won't let me apply for jobs for Jim even. Won't allow certain 'cookies'....

What's everyone doing today? You're supposed to keep me company!

Hello Diane and anyone else who happens to be around,

Well, we met up with the breeder and he is really nice. Leo met up with some of his extended family and the breeder had printed of his "history" for us. His kennel name is:

Coltham Creme Surprise. and he comes from a line of champions. He will be six on the 31 January. There are twelve champions on his father's side and eight on his mother's. Three that we can see on his history are American champions But we just love him as he is.

Well, I think that is all my news for the moment. I hope you are all having a good day and I hope Sue is getting her computer sorted. That must be so frustrating.

    God Bless

    Sheila

Oh what a 'rich' sounding name! However, Leo is cuter!

Well can it stop getting worse? Hubby's part time boss just called. He lost his very biggest line and now he and his wife are going to be just about out of business so now Jim has NO part time job at all!

    This is beyond my comprehension.

Sorry Diane! We were digging out my car (had about 6 inches of snow), then went to the travel agent. Picked us up a couple of tickets... will go down to Florida with my wife in mid March. [IMG] Then the Mrs. was doing some grocery shopping, and I was the chauffeur! [IMG]

    Good evening, everybody!!! [IMG]

Wow...LOTS of chatter on here today! How fun! Sorry I was working and missed participating. :(

Betty...I had to laugh when I saw the picture of the "smiling" dog Dan posted! I thought, "That looks like Muffin"!!! (I'm trying NOT to use the d-word because you keep saying Muffin doesn't know he's a "d", and I sure don't want to be the one to tell him!) [IMG]

SHEILA!!! I'm SOOOOOO glad you're back!!! I've really missed you around here!! Coltham Creme Surprise sounds like, uh, well...not sure WHAT it sounds like, so I'll always refer him as "Leo"!! Glad he met some of his relatives...that's gotta help him "connect", knowing he has relatives!! [IMG]

Diane... sorry I wasn't around to keep you company today! I can't BELIEVE it about Jim's job. I am just stunned, and I am SO sorry to hear it. Was he given any "notice", or is the job over effective now? When things like that happen, it makes me KNOW God has something GREAT in store for you guys to honor your faithfulness to Him even in the hard times. And I KNOW He will provide for your family, as He has done in the past.

I have a firewall and virus software. I have never had a problem with either...and I have never had a virus. I also have Spybot AND Ad-Aware, and run both every weekend just to clean up any junk that has landed my way during the week.

Rough week at work. I have attended and served in church FOREVER! I have been EMPLOYED at my church for 5 years now, and it is just incredible to find out what goes on "behind the scenes" to make things happen! I work a 4-day week, and sometimes on Friday if we have some last minute things that need to be done. But by Thursday night, I am exhausted!

I can't find a sig for "CJ". :( That IS my real name, you know!! [IMG] So in the meantime, I'll just be plain ole...

    Good evening all!

Got home today at 5:30 PM - Jan had a doctor's appointment at 9:45 AM - in Elmira, NY. She had a good report.

But the doctor gave me a prescription for bactroban ointment - seems like I tried to run a screw gun through my index finger on my left hand yesterday afternoon. Diabetics don't need infections.

As you may have noticed - Blackbird (and Miriam) took a little vacation - so I am doing double duty on the Coffee House Chapel for about a week. Writing devotionals takes time away from fun stuff - like talking to all of you - and double posting! [IMG] [IMG]

Dan - I liked Ed's stats on how long it would take to catch up with Sue!

Real quick update. We've been job searching all night and I just got a call about my birth father.

He had a brain aneurysm burst but it was a small one caused by age and high blood pressure, not a large one. Also, he actually turned to his wife and said 'Something just happened in my head'. She called 911 and the local hospital flew him to Tampa. Halfway there they had to land on the highway because of the fog and an ambulance drove him the rest of the way. Because of his age (77) the doctor's felt they couldn't do the usual form of surgery but they did a less invasive laser type thing and inserted a coil in the bleeder and said it won't happen again! He's sitting up, talking, eating and acting like nothing happened. He's never been sick other than high blood pressure.

PLEASE keep praying about the job. Jim's boss will pay him through next Friday but it was only a part time job with part time pay. I'll work all day tomorrow but the computer at the store won't allow me to do certain things (on BB or job sites) if certain cookies try to load. I'm guessing a Firewall???

Thanks for your love, your prayers, your emails and pm's and for being such wonderful friends in Christ Jesus our Lord!

    Diane
