An observation: Don't you men talk to each other? I just noticed that no-one has posted in the MPF since the 6th January. Must be one boring forum...

When I'm nervous, I can't even force myself to eat! I'm always drinking something tho. Always have but I'm not diabetic.

Well, I just got my head out of a book to see if anything was happening in here yet, and looks like everyone is waking up!!! [IMG]

Really lazy day around here today...

I'm not diabetic, but there is a lot of it in my family, so I get tested for it every year. However, I am familiar with the symptoms, so if I ever started exhibiting any, I would get it checked out PRONTO!!

Let's see...iron or post...what to do in such a dilemma??? [IMG]

Well, I have been ironing for almost an hour. I am one of that rare breed who actually likes ironing. But then I got to thinking about what you all might be getting up to. I have hardly had any e-mails today, :( , I don't think anyone loves me anymore, so I thought I would come here and post for a while. [IMG]

Sheila, I like to iron when it's raining. Never could figure that one out!

I'm at work so can't use email. In fact, some places on the board won't load once in a while because of the Firewall the owner has loaded but I have been able to send out resumes as long as they're jobs that allow you to use the resumes saved on the host site. I've done SO many!

When I got to the store today it was filled with smoke. Something had gone wrong with the corn stove and yuk! My eyes STILL sting but I really think it's because I've not slept but a few hours for the last few nights. First worrying about the dentist and then being achey from going to the dentist. The next night was the awful AWANA night and my birth father's aneurysm. Last night was good news about Daddy but bad news about the job and RIGHT before we went to bed, Jim mentioned worrying about having the mortgage money by Feb. 16th so that was THAT! Don't give me suggestions on things to worry about! LOL

    .................................. [IMG]

So, I'm still VERY concerned because our credit standing is important to us and our witness for the Lord can be hurt by unpaid bills, PLUS I don't want to lose our home! But, God has NEVER EVER let me down or let me do without what I really needed so Satan can just hit the road!

    Diane,

We have been there. There was a time when Rob was teaching on a temporary contract for four years before it was made permanent. At the end of every term we faced having to move out of the house which was a school house. For almost two years we couldn't buy another house because we hadn't sold our cottage in Wales. Our builders robbed us left, right and centre and the welsh police did absolutely nothing. When we sold the cottage we were able to pay the bank most of the £25,000 we owed them. The Lord provided all the way thru' even tho' we weren't walking with Him then, but looking back it can be only His provision for us that got us thru'. I am sure he is looking after you too. I will keep on praying.

    God Bless you and Jim

    Sheila

The diabetic pros - tell me that most diabetics have diabetes for five years before it is diagnosed.

I don't like to iron! [IMG] [IMG] - not even when it is raining!

Give me wash and wear - anytime!

Dan - wrinlkes don't bother me - but they bother Jan!

Hey Guys! Sue just called from Wisc.! She got up this morning and headed out to visit her son in one town and then will head to see Shauna tomorrow (about 2 more hours away). She said the roads are a little slippery and it had just started to snow so she's gotten to a hotel and is heading to bed. She'll drive 2 more hours to the see Shauna and the kids and then will drive home tomorrow late. Keep her in prayer for safe driving conditions and that she can sleep well!

She'll TRY to check in tomorrow night but it might be Sunday morning!

    Way to Go Sue!

Do you suppose that Sue might admit that this is a mini-vacation?

    Good morning!!! [IMG]

Can't believe I'm up this early, but I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep, so I got up. :(

Hi Sheila!!! I know you "signed off" of the game...but I was just getting into the rhythm of it!!! Still don't know how everybody plays more than one at a time...I would get SOOOOO confused as to which game I was playing!!! [IMG]

Still raining here, but that's OK cause we really need it!

    Practice - Practice - Practice

And then you'll still get confused once-in-a-while!

Been there done that - I chastised Sue one time for mixing up her games - even had to prove it to her that she had erred - then a day or two later - I did the same thing.

Think of that - PERFECT Me - making a mistake.

Dan - must be I'm not as perfect as I thought I was! [IMG]

Morning All! Yep... Sue has off from Friday til Tuesday so she'll have at least 2 days away. Me? I'd probably prefer to travel on a Sunday morning instead of a Saturday afternoon but then I've never driven far at all! Chicken!!

I don't like to travel much. I feel out of control of things when I'm not at home. When I was a child, we used to camp for most of the summer. Daddy would take us to Gulf Shores and we'd pitch a tent and live there the whole summer. He'd come from Friday night til Monday morning. We'd walk to the ocean or pond and there was a little store at the campground for supplies. Then, when he had his full month vacation, we'd go to the Smokey Mountains or further up and camp. I guess I didn't worry then because I had no responsibility!

So what is everyone doing today? I'm still enjoying the graphic signatures Barnabas sent me!

I'm going to do a little work around the house - and try to stay warm - I'm not sure about how successful I'll be on the second one!

Dan - would rather it be 72ºF!

It was 63° here yesterday and we had both doors open at the store. It's very cloudy here today tho and only 43° so far.

Don't work too hard! It's the weekend!
