Good for you Diane! It is always amazing when we receive what we've prayed for.

It's just freezing here. I may have to turn up the heat! To think that just yesterday I was so hot in the house that I had all the windows open and was considering airconditioning!

Isn't God amazing? Why are we surprised tho when He answers our prayers?!?

We have our heat on here. It's so wet that it feels even colder than it is.

We haven't turned on the heat yet. We probably will this week coming up. Forecast says it will get down in the 30'S. Can't wait.

We keep ours on 65° and turn it down to about 60° at night but I turned it up to 70° when we came in from church. It's so wet that it seems much colder! It's 37° but the wind is blowing 22 mph so the wind chill is well below freezing!

Supposed to be in the low 20's while Jim's away.

Hey yall. Its chilly here too - 39 right now. And it was warm yesterday!
Today we had two birthday parties, a dance recital, a trip to Hudsons for a Christian Bookstore closeout, and then stopped in to see Santa at a friends house (they have a come and go party every year). Now we are home, bathed, and almost ready for bed. Tomorrow is children's cantata, dance recital again, and the adult cantata. I'll be so glad when this weekend is done, but we are enjoying it all, too. Its just a little too busy. Gotta run to the church to get out costumes and put the baptistry platform together (Mary, Joseph, baby and angels appear there).

    Yall have a great night!!

Wow Tater! I'm not one who likes to have places to be! I would not have enjoyed rushing around like you've had to do today! God Bless you girl!

Well, It's after 11:00 and we'll have a room full for Sunday School early in the morning so I think I'll head to bed.

God bless and keep you all.

Was a warm and windy day here (ruined by an afternoon at the Mall) and preparation for preaching tomorrow.

Snow forecast, but only light so praying I will be able to get out to the church (80 miles on the high plains). Have a good sermon and talked with one of the deacons and he said com'on no matter what.

So ask your prayers for safety.

    Evening all - I guess it's morning (12:15am).

I slept off and on all evening and just woke up. I can't go back to sleep right now, but will soon I hope.

I have the inserts (three) in the papers already and will bag them as soon as the actual papers get here in a couple of hours.

Hubby is going to drive this morning so I don't have to get out in the cold, damp air like I did yesterday morning.

It's 34º here right now with a wind chill of 27º. A high of 48º today with 25-35mph winds and gusts over 50mph. 18º Tuesday night!

Be careful today Dr.Bob (driving AND walking). Glad you made enough babysitting Diane.

    Good morning all:

I am up for good now. Papers are ready for hubby to get up and deliver them. Coffee is on and I am wide awake.

Gonna snooze while everyone is at church though!

Hubby is bringing dinner home after church and then taking Brent to "Cookies with Santa" sponsored by the factory where he works.

I'll probably snooze then too! I am trying very hard to get well before tomorrow...

Good Morning Dr. Bob and Sue! Will keep you in prayers while in church today! Dr. Bob, for safe journey and steady footing in that weather as well as for your sermon to touch hearts and souls. Sue, will pray for your continued healing! It's too close to Christmas to be sick!

We need to start a campaign and contact some who have 'gone astray' and aren't dropping by to visit us anymore. I think I'll start with Computer Junkie and meander through this week. They need to come and vote and drop by the Coffee House and let us know they're okay!

Thanks for the prayers Diane! My daughter, Laura, had pneumonia last year and it took her three weeks to get over it. I'm not sure how long I've had it, so I don't know when I can look for recovery...

I think peeps are gabbing in the "The Never Ending Discussion" thread. But that is only supposed to last until Christmas.

We sure have a lot of 'gabby' threads now.

    Tea House

What's up with that? We just repeat the same thing in ALL of them.

I am heading back to the recliner.

    HAGD!

Yes, I agree with Sue. I was thinking the Coffee House had simply become the woman's forum of old.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Roger, if Dr. Bob drives 80 miles to get to his church, that beats out somebody else we know who has 70 miles to go. ;)

Did that once in London. I was going to preach at Highgate Baptist. I thought it was just a short stroll and I was wearing new oxfords. Turns out it was Highgate Road Baptist.....another ten blocks to walk..Good job I always left quite early for appointments.

    Cheers,

    Jim
