The only "RULE" here is NO fussin' - NO fightin' - NO feudin'!

I will try to be here to serve you; but if not, feel free to help yourself.

First one in every morning puts the coffee and tea on, last one out at night turns the lights off...

We serve donuts, cinnamon toast (dry toast available upon request), crumpets, bagels, scones, croissants, brioche rolls, yogurt, salads, light lunches, popsicles, ice cream, homemade cookies and homemade pies, and homemade jams.

We also serve coffee (with/without caffeine), hot chocolate, hot tea, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemonade and orange juice, cappuccino, Mountain Dew, DP, DDP, Coke, Pepsi, Diet Sierra Mist, milk, milk shakes, Kool-Aid, and Carb Options.

If you don't see your drink or food of choice...just ask, we will do our best to stock it for you!

Our aim is to please...come and sit a spell, enjoy the fellowship and come back often!

As Christians, we are ALL on common ground...

    Good morning all:

80º here at 5:00 a.m. I am SO thankful for A/C and pray for the people, especially the elderly or those with breathing problems, that don't have it! We will hit at least 103º today with the heat index even higher.

I only got four hours sleep, so it's nap time this afternoon...

    Cruising,

Just a quick good morning. It's still pleasant here but we'll close up before church and turn on the air. It's going to be hot here too!

When I took the puppy out first thing this morning, I found 2 black widow spiders. Still about the size of an English pea but dangerous just the same. Black Widows remind me of Dan Todd. I offered to mail him a big one last year. [IMG] Hope he's well and not killing himself at work!

Well off to shower and head to church.
    Diane

Owl, the unit was full of water and the float arm was up. The unit was wired with an automatic shut down on our unit if the evaporator pump was full. Our drainage tube had gotten 'buried' but hubby just tapped it with his foot, the arm dropped, unit drained and everything has worked perfectly for 2 weeks. The compressor, etc. had checked out fine by the HVAC guy. Thanks, tho.

It's 85 here, in the house. Our a/c went down Friday. I think I will have Jordan tap the tube.

    Blessed Sunday everyone.

It is very hot here but it's the humidity that is causing the real problems. Even though the thermstat says it is 70 or so in the house, it is still stuffy! Thank the Lord we installed ceiling fans in just about every room. They keep the cool air moving around and lessen the stuffiness. It is 78 at the moment here.

Last week is finally over and what a week it was. To many thinngs going on to even mention. This week will be very similar. Precious becomes a teenager on Tuesday! Something is going on everyday except today and Monday. Then again we may end up with company this pm. T's sister's family is in for the funeral of his BIL's father.

Anyway it goes, I'm either resting today and cleaning tomorrow(my preference) or I'll do it the other way around. I'll be very glad when this week is at it's end and everything I have to do is done and with a positive outcome.(don't want much do I?)

Time for church, ya'll have a good day!

Afternoon all, only been home from church for a few minutes. Bro. Alan Quigley preached (our previous pastor) and the altar was full. Alan never was one to hurry the Holy Spirit so he preached until God told him it was time. Church was packed. Oh how I wish he'd not been called away from us. I love than man dearly. I got two great big hugs from him and had a chance to talk with him for a few minutes from he preached. Oklahoma has surely been blessed by God!

It's 90° with a heat index of 94° so not as bad as predicted but it's going to be hot until Thursday. I have the 3 kids Mon., Tues, Thurs., and Ty Mon - Thursday but the next week I'll have Ty Tues.- Friday.

Well I forgot to buy the ONE Mega Millions ticket and someone stole my $170 million dollars! Can you only imagine what I could have done with that money????

How about over 100 degrees? That is what we've been getting here the last few days. I've been spending time in the pool.

Well, we have cooled down to 99 degrees, or maybe we just haven't reached the 100 degree mark today yet. Yesterday was 102!

We still had a good attendance at church and a wonderful service.

Both services were packed at our church.

Thankful, if you EVER get a chance, have your church invite Pastor Alan Quigley to come and speak or hold a revival. His title is Personal Evangelism Specialist, Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma. They live in Ok. City I think and his wife will be teaching 4th grade this year.

The scale at the doctor's office has a chart showing the desired weight per height. Thanks to it, I now know my problem. I'm not overweight; I'm too short.

Wear heels Diane! That'll change that average.

It's made it to about 95 here. I'm still having problems with the idea that Alabama is the cool spot in the nation.

I've done nothing so far today and now it is getting the better of me. I'm going to cook supper and straighten up this house a bit.

    Ya'll have a good evening!

After church this afternoon---way, way, way past after noon(well, to be exact---I finished preaching at 12:15----which ain't sayin' nothin' being as to how I didn't get started until 11:40) anyway after lunch----my wife and I ate a quick bite and drove up to Jackson to see a young church couple who just had a

    BABY!!!!

It felt like about 100 degrees out-----but I prefer 100 degrees over anything below 40!!!!!

Diane, I'll pass this information on to Ed. I think the schedule is full for this year, but Ed will know and he can ask the pastor to put Bro. Quigley on the list.

I looked at a lot of websites today and the all agree that I'm within weight range even to I'm pushing it. I also found a place to check bone size by elbow bones. That said I have big bones for my height. I always thought that. Just a firehydrant, that's what I am.

I compared pictures of us for the last 3 1/2 years. The picture where I was 114 lbs., my face looks awful. 129 looks best but 144 lbs. doesn't look that much heavier than the 129. Jim likes the body size when my face looked awful!!!

I've been very anxious for 2 days. I haven't been like this for over a year! I don't like it at all!

Oh, stop, Diane. I was looking at a picture of blackbird on the old computer but the ugly filter wouldn't let the pic come up on the screen, so I opened the picture of Diane and Jim. My 20 something year old son happened by and, with one raised eyebrow said, "Who dat?"

I says to the boy, "She's old enough to be your mama, never mind that eyebrow who dat business." His reply, "Maybe, but she's all that."

    PKs can be so impetuous.

I got rid of 165 lbs of ugly fat once. I sent my MIL home.
