I forgot to welcome you back, Jim! Sorry!

Donna: The roof will be finished in a couple of hours. PTL!!!!

The inside of the porch is still a mess, but I'm sure thankful the roof will be done!

Brent and I just got back from Aldis and Krogers and put groceries away.

Sue, be careful on that roof.

We just got back from our annual family reunion. I'm glad we only do it once a year. They could have sent a memo and been more interesting than that.

Gib: I had visions of looking just like that picture you posted!

We can only get everyone together for a family reunion about once every 5-6 years. This year we're aiming for the middle of December and will celebrate Christmas then, too.

How's Jordan? Tell him I said for you to stop picking on him! [IMG]

Hey, Tony, did you get the yard mowed? We've almost got the roof done! [IMG]

That's a good one, Gib. You wouldn't even have to read the memo [IMG]

Jordan, or JB, as he likes to be called  is still slow on the go. He weathered the reunion well. He slept in the truck most of the time.

Taylor, or Cowlick Boy, as we like to call him, fell at soccer practice and bruised his knee pretty good. He'll bounce back quick.

Cheryl, being the only healthy one in the pack, I guess, will be cutting the grass again. :D

Hey Jim, it is good to see you. I wondered where you were. God Bless!

I'm sure many families would rather get a memo for their reunions, instead of the live event. [IMG]

My family reunions consist only of kids and grandkids (and their spouses). That brings it up to about 25 people. [IMG]

We don't do the extended family reunions anymore (cousins, Aunts, Uncles, etc.)

Never had a family reunion..too much ocean between us. We do bring a relative or two over to Canada every year, if that counts, and we used to go to England every year for a month. This year Mary took our two daughters and older granddaughter for a few weeks in England and Scotland. I can't fly anymore for fear of clots.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Sadly, my kids and grandkids only get to come home, at the same time, about once every 5/6 years.

We live in four different states and with everyone's job, etc., it is hard to arrange schedules.

I'm getting stiff and sore from all the work today so I am taking my shower and turning in early.

Last one here - turn out the lights.

    Pleasant dreams all!

Can't imagine ever having a reunion of my generation.

This Christmas, Lord willing, our kids and grand daughter will all be here together [IMG] .

Rob's side of the family try to get together about once every five years. They take the view that they don't want their reunions just to be due to funerals. They are usually great occasions. The last one combined a ruby anniversary and a retirement, as I recall. [IMG]

    Blessings
