Ummmm. No. It's a sign that I've got work to do on the Internet and I can't lay off a week and let it pile up... [IMG]

Preacher: You could not get any farther than a black screen and an error message that came up on it. It was completely frozen because a dll file was corrupted. If I could have gotten it to go someplace, I would have fixed it myself!

If Ed's computer wouldn't work, then he would have to rent one or get a new one. He is not going to get MINE! Course, I would use his while he is at work if something happened to mine.

    Glad you are back, Sue.

Awwww. It feels so good to be missed. [IMG]

It has been rather a long day. I'm still putting away things that we took to the Woman's Club Saturday and I am still tired from all the 'busyness' last week!

I am going to bed early and try to get rested up.

    Pleasant dreams all!

You did good preacher! I just turned the coffee on. [IMG]

    Good morning all:

We got another inch of snow during the night and it is still snowing. Later today we are to get rain showers, then the next two days - more snow.

I get my computer back sometime today. Maybe I will even have time to get some pictures, from Saturday, up on my web site. [IMG]

Other than that, I'm doing laundry and putting presents away. I've just been too tired to do much of anything since Saturday...

    Cruising,

    Good morning all!

It's around 38 here this morning, and the rain is moving in! Someone said that we may have some sleet mixed in. I hope not.

I brought some pecan coffee cake for ya'll. So, eat up! [IMG]

Ya'll keep warm today. I've got to try to finish getting the lights on the tree (actually, re doing them) and then Viv and I are going to decorate this evening.

Hope ya'll have a nice day.

Good Morning, All! That coffee cake is really good.

I took Muffin to the Groomers and had a couple of errands to run, but decided to come on home.

Three cars pulled out in front of me (and I"m not invisible). One pulled in front and stopped to turn. I decided that the driving was just too crazy for me and it wasn't eve 9 AM yet.

I'm am so glad that I can shop online, but I do like to go see the Christmas decorations in the stores, etc., but I'm not sure it is even safe to do that.

I have two more errands to do today, but I will do them when I pick Muffin up.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning everyone.
Thankful, I don't like dealing with holiday traffic either. It seems everyone forgets their manners. I'm so glad Muffin is doing well.
Well, it looks like I have to brave that traffic and run a couple errands myself now.
Hope you all have a good day.

There is something to be said for a one-horse town..........we don't even have to look both ways before crossing.

    Cheers,

Well, I survived another trip to town, but it wasn't easy. I have to go out again tomorrow.

I'm still working on Christmas cards and I need to do some cooking for guests on Sunday, but it is supposed to snow on Saturday. Everyone I saw today wished me a Merry Christmas. I think people are emphasizing it more than usual.

Hope everyone has a great evening!

    Good evening all,

I love guests, Betty, but I hope I don't have any for a few days! [IMG]

I don't know how, but I came down with an attack of Bronchitis this afternoon and it is not getting any better. The coughing is bad and the 'cement block' is back on my chest. Hopefully a good rub down with Vicks and a heating pad will break it up.

I will go to bed early and run the vaporizer and hope that helps. I think I just got worn down from the stress, and preparation, for all the festivities last week...

    Pleasant dreams all!

    Good morning all,

Sue, hope you get to feeling better. I will be praying for you.

Please, if y'all think about it, please, remember to pray for me for tomorrow's spinal injections. I don't know why, but I always get so apprehensive about these things. They make me literally sick for one (spinal headaches), and they aren't comfortable to have. This time I'm getting them from one of the owners as my doctor decided he wasn't going to give me any more because he wasn't a part of the "network" approved and only got 70% instead of 80. I felt it unethical on his part to wait until the last minute to have someone from his office call to cancel last week. I filed an ethics complaint against him because he lied to us and told us he was "in network" before he started.

Vivian has really been tired these past few days. I know working so hard really tires her out. But, she doesn't complain. I try to have a majority if not all of dinner done before she gets home. Last night we finally got the tree decorated, and it's beautiful. First time it's been up since 1998.

I put some cocoa and coffee on the table for ya'll this morning. Enjoy! [IMG]

    Have a wonderful day!

    Bro. T

    Good morning Tony and all:

Ooooh. Some hot cocoa would really hit the spot this morning.

I don't feel much better than I did last night and had a terribly restless night. My chest is tighter this morning. I might need a new vaporizer.

Tony, I will be praying that your anxiety level drops. I know how upcoming tests/injections can get us all worked up. I sure hope Viv can get some rest over Christmas!

Other than schooling Brent, I don't plan to do much today. Thursday is payday and hubby usually buys supper and brings it home. At this point, food doesn't even interest me (except chicken noodle soup).

I am SO glad my Christmas shopping is done, paid for, wrapped and under the tree!!!

    HAGD all!

    Good Morning Everyone!

I'm having a bit of a break this morning before getting back to the real work. The school battle is on! They are being stubborn but had to admit that maybe I had a point about a couple of things. On one point they won't budge, but I'm not quite finished with them yet. It may take some time and a visit or two to the school board itself, but I am going to make my opinion known.

Anyway, the school finally decided that maybe they should have looked closer into Precious' health problems before threatening to retain her for missing to many days. They have asked for a letter more specifically describing her problems from the doctor that is treating her and that is my big job of the day. (they already have one letter describing her symptoms but they want a diagnosis. They may not get one though as we don't yet have a firm diagnosis and the doc told me last time that we may never know what caused it)

My other job today is petting Son, who is home with a stomach ache. He is going to miss a field trip if he doesn't get better soon. He says he doesn't care. One more stomach thing to add to the list for this year.

Sue, mine is bought but not wrapped. I gotta get moving on that, but not today! :D

Tony, thanks for the cocoa and I'll be praying for you.

    Cindi

Oh my, this is the first time I have stopped by today and I'm on my way to bed.

I have nearly all the Christmas Cards addressed. A few more for the mail.

I have one present to wrap. Ed has already opened his. I still need to buy one for Muffin.
    He will get another toy.

I went to town today and had no traffic problems. I only went to the bank and the drug store -- in that order.

Someone sure is making this Medicare drug program complicated. If I understand it correctly, I don't have to do anything because I already have drug coverage with my supplemental policy. At least the letter I received from them said I didn't have to do anything, but a friend of mine who is retired from state government said her letter said she needed to choose or they would choose a plan for her.

I also worked on cleaning my closet and getting some clothes ready to take to GoodWill.

    Good night, all

    Betty

    Good morning all;

Let's remember Tony in prayer as he is getting more spinal injections today and they usually make him sick.

It is snowing very lightly here. We just have a dusting on the sidewalk we've cleaned off. I'm not sure if it's going to stop soon or we'll be getting some more inches.

I spent most of the day on the couch yesterday with Brent keeping me supplied with ice water. He also made me some chicken and noodle soup since that is about the only thing I felt like eating.

He has three PACE tests today, so I will stay up until he is finished with those and then I'll probably hit the couch again - or at least the recliner. I am sure tired. I think I woke up every hour, on the hour, all night long.

    HAGD all!
