    Good morning all,

It has cooled down, but another storm is moving in - it's getting dark again. The grass needs mowed, but Brent can't mow when it's wet. He trimmed yesterday, then the storm hit. Maybe later today...

I'll have a sausage biscuit and some O.J. this morning - thanks preacher!

I'm going to get Brent up so he can gather all the downed limbs, branches, etc. and put them at curbside so the city can pick them up. That will save us a trip to the landfill.

    HAGD!

You think my eyes look red? You should see 'em from my side

    Morning everyone,
I thought I heard you jump last night Bitsy(no, dear, you're NOT heavy - I just have good ears).
At about the time you were re-setting clocks and electronics I was battling a migraine. The migraine won.
I just popped in to say "hi". I think I'll pass on any refreshments right now.
    I'll pop back in later.
You need some rest Bitsy(as you've so correctly told me:tongue3: ). I'll try to be quiet.

Well, I'm stumbling around. I've got that web meeting to get ready for and I'm fumbling with it. All thumbs! :type:

Rob, is your migraine better this morning? I certainly hope so.

Cassie -- how's your ear, sweetie?

Preacher! you did such a good job, I may get the stuff ready every night now for you to take care of in the a.m.

Like a Bull in a China Shop

I admit it!, I did it! I woke up Sleeping Beauty. Wasn't with love's first kiss either. Just me stumbling over the dog.

I'm fumbling(and stumbling) too. I guess my migraine is better. I can look at light without wanting to hurl, and sound doesn't take the top of my head all the way off(just part way). It's the first one I've had in awhile. No idea what triggered it.

Fortunately I can nurse this monster today(any other volunteers?).

No ideas, huh? How about the stress of the weekend? A crying baby? Thunderstorm? And my favorite trigger of all, the perfume in the baby wipes?

I hate to tell you but it would have been migraine city at our house with all that going on.

Cassie is up and not in pain, but she doesn't feel well either. :( We'll see how she feels after she moves around some.

    Jim, be careful driving.

    Bitsy, enjoy your meeting. ;)

    later ya'll

    Hey Y'all!

    That's southern for "Hi everybody".

I wasn't able to get on here at all Wed. Didn't try til about 3:30 this afternoon.

I had looked all over town for some glasses that I liked, with no success. So, I ordered some at the BX at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma. They arrived in the mail yesterday afternoon. Went to the BX here this morning only to find out the Optical shop is closed on Thursday.
So, I decided to drive on down to Wally-World to have them adjusted and I don't know what that woman was thinking, but she has the left ear-piece, right at the back, going straight down instead of the nice angle it is supposed to have. That makes the left lens closer to my eye th the right. Just had to go put the old ones back on. I'll try the BX tomorrow or Saturday.

MK - how's Cassie's ear? I had been looking for my steamer for months, and found it yesterday. So now I might get started on that bathroom.

(I had taken it to Church in January to steam some International flags we use for Missions Conference. [Some MEN had built a wall dividing a room into two rooms, and did not move anythig out, so there was a nice layer of Sheet-rock dust on everything.])

Anyway, either Carl or I had put it back in the box and that one into the box it had been delivered in. QVC purchase. Neither of us remembers dfoing that.

I'll stop before this turns from a short story to a novel. Want to know More? Just ask. :wavey:

    Any suggestions for him?

Or...empty his temporary internet files, & cookies. See if that helps!

Just got home .... a little cooler on me today, not as much humidity, but I had to swing back by & get Agee after work so it took me longe to finish. Just as long as I'm done by 5 then they won't be any grumblin'!! Get to go out in a little & mow on the yard some more, & put Sam up. Agee put her on her tether & turned the water hose on her....boy she stinks now!! But she seemed to enjoy it.
Jerry had his stupid cat in the LR when I got home,,,,I immediately put it out, BH scared to death.

Uh Rob? If Tony can't get on, he can't pm you. You still got a migraine?

Cassie says it hurts! We gave up on the idea of going out tonight. She just does't feel like it. The ear is still icky and draining too. That may last for a while. But she's talking! I guess if she can talk on the telephone she'll live. :D She laying on the bed giggling with her friend at how mean she was to my poor kitty cat last night. Poor cat was just sitting on the side of the bathtub full of water minding her own business when Cassie sneaks up and pushes her in! What's funny is Cassie is still the cat's favorite person.

Ooooops! Sorry MK. I don't think too good after a migraine. Some people might say a migraine has nothing to do with it either.:tongue3:

Mine don't think to well during or after one either, that's why I thought you might still have it. I hate migraines!

I don't know if I've told you this but About.com has a very good headache and migraine forum. It's the best I've found. Very active. They have good information as well. Look for it in the health section.

    Starting to feel human again

I seem to have shaken off the effects of my "monster". I'm starting to feel "human" again. That's always dangerous.

Homestly, MK I didn't make the connection between what's been going on and the migrane. Compared to what a friend of mine (Judy) went thru - I'll take the migraine.

I ended up going to the Doctor for a couple of shots, then back to a quiet, dark, room.

I feel like a mushroom (shaped like one too):tongue3: .

Sure glad you're smarter about these things then I am. Heck, I'm glad you're smart period.

    Why thank you!

Naw, I'm not really that smart, it's just migraines have become a way of life at this house and stress really ups the occurance. Actually stress itself is not supposed to be a trigger, it just makes us more susceptable to our triggers. The link I gave you explains it better than I can.

I'm getting soooooo sleepy. I may head to bed soon.

Figured I'd drop BH off....she's been with me for an hour or so & actin some like her normal self. I found a flea on me,....hope there ain't none on her....the only source coulda been that dumb cat. Mabey it was just the one, I do pat the thing outside ONCE in awhile & never got any on me...that I know of anyway.
Well I guess I'm off to slumber,...we had a good rain here bout 6, but it's muggy outside rite now. Hope tomorrow's temp was like todays. Starting Sun it's only supposed to be on the 80's thru wed. unless the forcast has changed.
