Does anyone know anything about this version? I have heard about it from a few people, but I really don't know a thing about it. As a pastor, I would appreciate any information you all can give that will better prepare me for answering questions about it.

Thank you, Author. I will read the introductory material at the website and post any observations here for further interaction.

According to the Biblical Research Institute website, the Concordant Version was the work of the late Mr. A. E. Knoch. He thought that each word of the original Bible languages should be translated with the same English word in each case.

Also, according to the BRI's own admission of their beliefs on salvation, the BRI itself may be just a bit questionable. They "rely wholly and solely on grace" for salvation. They then go on to explain that there is no faith required, as the faith of "Maschiah" (Jesus) was exercised on bahalf of His disciples, and that this is what saves us. It seems these folks are so far out in left field that they have hit their heads on the left-field wall a few times too many. For more info, see the web site at:

    http://www.lifeofjesus.com/rapture_3.html

and read the Prologue for some real enlightenment.

This translation did not read very good to me. There are many that are better that this one. BTW, is this the extent of this bible or is it still being worked on by anyone?
