If they have faith in Christ they could not remain in the Catholic Church; I could not remain in the Catholic Church. Christianity and the faith of the RCC are at polar opposites of each other.

Can a person be a Muslim and a Christian at the same time?
Neither can a person be a Catholic and a Christian at the same time.

The Catholics teach and believe that Jesus is the Son of God. But does that make it a saving faith?

    Not at all!!

The Jesus they profess to be the Son of God has a mother who is the Queen of Heaven, a mother who is a perpetual virgin, a mother who is able to save people from hell if they faithfully serve her, etc..

The Roman Catholic Jesus is not the Son of God. Their Jesus is an antichrist.

If you think you are saved by works you deny the sufficiency of the blood of Christ. Think it through. They don't understand salvation. If you don't understand salvation then how can you be saved?

Well, I'd have to disagree with you.

We all see though a glass darkly -- except some on here.
