OK, It finally happened, England won against Australia.

A one day match, (50 overs per side) England scored 292 in their alloted overs, Australia scored 200 .. and ran out of batsmen. So England desevedly won by 92 runs. Ed Joyce, of England, scored his first international century and won th 'Man of the Match' award.

Andrew Flintoff probably needs an award for the bigggest smile of the season, was good to see him at the post match interview enjoying speaking as the winning captain rather than having to make excuses for why England was losing agan.

Two more 'Round Robin' matches to play,(could be better described as a "'Round Australia money generatiing Exercise for the Australian Cricket Board") then the best of 3 finals series Still open as to weather England or New Zealand will play Australia in the finals series.

    Regards
    Bob
