After a study of the book of Hezekiah, I believe it is a sin for Baptists to eat ice cream. (only Church of Christ may partake of Ice Cream)

Therefore I propose that the official Baptist treat be popcorn

Just had some popcorn, and I think it is entirely suitable for Baptists. But (contrary to my previous post) I believe ice cream is necessary for all kinds of growth. Come to Hokkaido and have some soft ice cream from the dairy island of Japan. It's righteous! :saint::saint:

I move we call a special BB business meeting to discipline Salty for trying to steer us away from godly ice cream to worldly popcorn!

If all of these Baptists agree on it, then I'm absolutely, 1,000% sure that it's of the devil!! :BangHead:

Since I know for a fact that the Bible calls for all Baptists to practice at least four degrees of separation, Salty, you've offended me!!

Well, I did leave out the Old Regualr Baptists and the Two-Seed-in-the-Spirit Predestinarian Baptists

I hear that the TWSPB actually eat Banana Splits! :tear:

Ah, you've used the magic word near and dear to the hearts of all God-fearing, Bible-toting, Died-in-the-Wool Baptists: "SPLITS"!!! :applause:

There's hope for you yet, my Brother!

United Dairy Farmers Oreo Cookies and Cream Frozen Yogurt.

If that's not available, Mayfield's ice cream will do nicely :)

On this, all Baptists can be unified!

But the OP was about chocolate, not specifically chocolate ice cream. So, must we only eat pure chocolate or is it lawful to have it with peanut butter?

Heretic! Your failure to read between the lines and know that we were talking about ice cream has led you to a false conclusion that is not salvific. :tonofbricks:

Don't you realize that she is sincere and had studied many hours to come
    to this conclusion?

I only have two words(plus a few more so it'll post lol):

    Blue Bell.

Any other version of ice cream, no matter the flavor is heresy.

Her study was unprofitable because her a priori presupposition was not in keeping with the doctrines established from the beginning.

Like painters, who work hard to construct a scaffolding and paint an immense building, only to discover later that they had the wrong address for their work, the work was good, but the results unprofitable and even costly.

I beg to differ with you, my friend!!

The AUTHORIZED VERSION of ice cream is that which is made by Purity! :applause:

Why, even its name tells you that it is the Pure, Unadulterated version!!

None of the modern versions of ice cream can match its purity. I know for a fact that all of the recipes for the modern versions of ice cream have in them ingredients that are different from that of the Received Text, and thus are very highly suspect!!

While some may tell you that the modern versions of ice cream tend to be easier to digest, I have it on very reliable sources that those who regularly partake of large doses of any of these modern versions of ice cream have subsequently experienced a number of very serious medical conditions.

Most (if not all) of these conditions would never have occurred had they stuck to the Holy Spirit-inspired ice cream receipe that's found only in that which Purity makes!

I beg you, my friend, PLEASE don't let the god of this world's system blind you to the realities that there are counterfeit brands of ice cream out there!! While they may resemble the pure brand, and may even sell greater quantities than the pure brand, there is real danger for those who choose to consume them!

Don't fall prey to their cunningly devised fables or be lured by their appealing marketing schemes!! While they may appear at first to be safe, their ends are the ways of destruction!!

So, can I join dcorbett at the creamery if I cover my head and wear an ankle length skirt? Or is it just hopeless?

Why have Baptists gotten away from Scripture.

Yes, the ICE does appear, so it is scriptural to eat,

but the word cream does not

MY how liberalism has snuck into our churches - oh they say, ice is okay, and cream is not prohibited - so the sinful ice cream must be okay - but I declare that we should stay away from ice cream - and after extensive research, I uncovered the fact that ice cream was first served to Baptists at a - dance- how could double dipping Baptist go so far away from the Bible.....:tear: :tear: :tear:

But we can't get Blue Bell in Japan, so are we heretics in your eyes??? Have mercy! :tear:

Besides, Japanese Baptists will swear by matcha (green tea) ice cream and goma (sesame) ice cream, not to mention melon soft ice cream (only in Hokkaido, yum!). [IMG]
