Depravity of Man Purposed or Not?

    I think that the 'some' you refer to would agree that man did not do it on his own, that it's just a matter of when we were given the ability to respond to God.

    It is nice that you think a majority, but why would you think such? It doesn't seem to me that scripture would support such an idea, as comforting as it may be.

    Essentially you are correct!

    Some see God having predestined His elect unto eternal life, leaves rest of man dead in their sins and transgression, active to save/passive towards the lost

    Others see God predestinating in active fashion BOTH lost and saved!

    I see it as the first group would!
