Discipleship Questions

    The following questions were given out at a Bible Study I attend 6 months ago. A pretty impressive list, it sums up the questions that I believe we should know the answers to, as Baptists, and as Christians defending and sharing our faith.

    1. If you died today, where your you spend eternity? Heaven Hell Not Sure

    2. Why?

    3. What is believing (belief or faith)?

    4. What are justification, sanctification, and glorification?

    5. Are works necessary for salvation?

    6. Can you lose your salvation? Give two verses to support your position.

    7. Is Baptism part of salvation?

    8. What are the 5 fundamentals of our faith?

    9. What is eternal life?

    10. What is the only condition for eternal life? Give two verses to support your position.

    11. Define grace, mercy, justice.

    12. Does man have the ability to choose God in and of himself?

    13. What is dead faith?

    14. What is propitiation?

    15. What is atonement?

    16. What is repentance?

    17. That is redemption?

    18. What is the doctrine of predestination? (One sentence answer...)

    19. What is the judgment at the Great White Throne?

    20. What is the bema seat?

    21. What is total depravity?

    22. Are there rewards in Heaven?

    23. Are there rewards on earth?

    Anyway... just thought this might be a good discussion starter. If not, then disregard my first post on this forum.

    Pretty big list, are you wanting us to answer all them at once? [​IMG] Each question could be a thread on its own.

    BTW, do you think Baptists can disagree on some of these questions, and still all be Baptists? :D

    Actually guys, I was just giving you the list... kind of letting you know what direction the Discipleship Study we had went in. I'd love to discuss some of these in depth, although I by no means have "the answers". It was interesting to discuss what we thought we knew, and then what the Bible said about the subject. Quite enlightening.
