I am voting tomorrow night, 10th October. That is when we will have at least two adults around to witness that we are the one putting the ballot papers in the envelopes.

Any body beating me to the vote?

My guess is that you may go through the actual act of voting before any of us are able to, but that it will arrive here and actually be counted after we have voted on the 18th. That is just my guess. Now, there may have been some troops in other parts of the world who have already voted, but I am not sure exactly. I fully expect the DEMS to try to suppress that vote since over 70% of the military vote will go to Bush. :D

Just curious, the 18th of October - are you also voting absentee?

That is when early voting begins. As far as I know, it is not absentee as I will vote at city hall.

Kewl, I didn't know anything about "early voting."

Actually, here now, I was hoping to be the first BB member to vote ;) .

In Arkansas we have two weeks of early voting before the election. It's a great way to avoid lines on election day. Plus if you vote early and you get sick(or die) before you could vote on election day, your vote is already in the tally.

I plan on going to the county courthouse to vote before the election.
