That's wonderful, you are right about not every song having the "Blood" but see how many of the new songs have it applied. The shed blood is needed, but it has to be applied. From Gen. to Rev. Its all about the Blood. Let me ask a Question and I'll wait for your or some one elses response? How much of the Mothers blood is contributed to the development of an unborn child? 50%, 100%, 30%.... I got to go: apreciate your comments And God bless.

umm, william? none of the mother's blood ever mixes with the unborn baby's. She doesn't give up any of her blood for the baby at all. Her blood volume increases, but that is to facilitate the production of nutrients and oxygen for the little one. If my blood mixed with my babies' we'd both have allergic reactions and half my babies wouldn't have made it.

I don't know how or why that would fit in with this discussion, but I thought Id point that out for ya. [IMG]

I agree for the most part "SBC, Helen, Tiny, Joshua Rhodes, Tater, SFIC, Rachel, Rhet. and many many others all have a fervent desire to serve God;" we all may be sincere in what we think but lets be honest and; I'm not trying to burst anyones Bubble, but we could be sincerely wrong as well. I love some contemporary Music but I cannot trust my flesh , my flesh warreth against the spirit. with all do respect to the song Rachel was singing, we shold listen to the Spirit of Truth which is the Holy Spirit. I'm sort of new at this "Baptist Board Discussion" web site, but I try to listen to peoples opinion. It really does 't matter what all of you beleive. or I, the Scripture is above us all. Thanx for your comment and God bless. </font>
I do listen to the Spirit of Truth thank you very much. I know God is pleased with my Worship and Praise and love for Him. I serve HIM.

You just might be sincerely wrong in this.

I do want to serve God, and I do listen to other music than CCM or Praise and worship ( as a matter of fact there are some CCM I wouldn't be caught dead listening to.)

I also like some Southern Gospel and hymns..
For example this past Sunday.. we had 3 songs for the morning worship service...

I sung "Your love is extravagant" both to God and to the church, as my way of giving thanks to both of them...

Then the congregation sung "Fairest Lord Jesus"

then the choir sung a southern gospel.. "the song rolls on" (I think that is the name of it)

We have blended music, and it always seems to fit the theme of the service... most of the time it is not even planned that way! God does it...

The sermon was about giving thanks to Jesus for saving us it was built upon Eph 2:1-10. Go read it... and notice the words "But God" in verse 4

I thank God for those 2 words.... "But God"..

We were going to Hell, "But God" sent His son!

Praise Him, Tinytim!

This past Sunday morning we did this list of songs:
He has Made Me Glad
Greater is He That is in Me
Holy is the Lord (Tomlin)
Trust and Obey
'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus
I Worship You, Almighty God (Corbett)
A Clean Heart (Rhodes)

Invitation: Lord, Here Am I

We do blended as well, but only on Sunday nights. This past Sunday night we did
He is Exalted
Lord I lift Your Name on High
Hallelujah, what a Savior
O what a saviour (chorus only, verses are bad doctrine)
And I need Thee Every hour

</font>
Maybe I am Maybe I am not, I am sure you are worshiping something higher than yourself ; and I'm sure your heart is in the right place, by your comments and /or previous posts. Our job as Christians is to test the Spirits to see if they are of God, not pass judgement, So if you think I have pre - judged you, I apologize. I dont hang around you 24/7 so I dont Know you or your praise habits, or do you mine,{I think that was correct English pardon me if wasn't}. I listened to jars of clay, point of grace, and some other contemporary songs today and some other days , only because 1500 AM WDPC Dallas Ga 30157 goes off the air around 6 P.M. which is pure Gospel,Preaching, teaching, Studying, Hearing the AV 1611,From 7:45 A.M to 6:00 P.M. not in that order. With all that said I jus t beleive that the whole council of God, should and must be preached, taought, and Studied. Thanx for your comments and God Bless

point taken, you are right thats why all of the fathers blood is needed for the development of the baby ; Jesus had his fathers blood , if it had been mere man on that cross we would all be in hell. The Blood applied is the only thing acceptable in the presense of Jahova God when it comes to anything we do Jesus did it once and for all, but not all will receive him.

 There are zero red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets involved in the formation of a zygote. No plasma is involved. No blood in any form goes from parent to child at conception.

Then the paternety tests done today involve the father not the mother , the question was a trick Question, none of the mothers blood but the father determines the blood type. That's why we cant deny the virgin birth and the diety of Christ. A doctor turned Evangelist wrote a book called "The Chemistry of the Blood" by M.D. Mahan
Explains it pretty well. The point is that the Praise or worship that we listen to today is so much like the world, you need the blood covering or its easy to be mislead. With out discerment , understanding and the gifts of the Holy Spirit , we are like sounding brass.Thanx and God Bless

"For Thou form my inward parts: Thou didst weave me in my mother's womb.
I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
Psalm 139:13-14

The child has its own blood supply separate from the mother's, but the placenta brings the two systems next to each other. The father determines the type

Not so fast, I remember hearing that when i was a child, but when I got to high school biology, it wasn't so....

That has been a long time.. do you have anything online that I can check this out..
This may even belong in another thread...

Please show me where this has been proven scientifically.

Are you saying that a child that has a blood type of A has a father with the same blood type?

This is what I was taught, but upon surveying friends it didn't pan out.

tinytim,

the father determines the gender of the child, not the blood type. The blood type is a function of the DNA "instructions" and can be the same as either the father OR the mother. 2 of my kids have my blood type, and 3 have their father's blood type. Then you can get into the whole recessive versus dominant gene, and find out what type the grandparents were and that can have an effect also.....but that's a tad too indepth for "Seeing the Crowds", dontcha think? Unless you want to put the crowds under a microscope!!!!

"OK, all you sinners line up for a blood test, let's see if you are truly saved"

That is what I understand.... But I was wondering what he was talking about?
