Not a single doctrine is changed by the textual variants. The article you posted, written by a well known KJVO extremist with no knowledge of Hebrew, Greek, textual criticism, or manuscript evidence, is so full of fallacy that it hardly bears reading.

If you want to post articles please find those written by people who actually know what they are talking about.

So you cannot accept the principles and theories behind the King James Version?

After all, "critical" just means "examine closely" and that is exactly what the KJV translators did. They "examined closely" the Bishops' Bible and the Hebrew and Greek texts and made determinations based on that "close examination."

Why would you suddenly come out against the KJV?

Ask him where he goes to church.

I mistakenly quoted the wrong portion of scripture under number two. I should have posted:

The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

Why our time to edit has been reduced to such a short amount of time I have no idea. It is not helpful.

So you admit that there are doctrinal differences between different versions?

It's interesting the the room made for allowances of KJVO's into their camp. As long as one is KJVO, they're welcome, initiated, cited, honored, authoritative.

Will Kinney is allegedly Calvinist, and most KJVO as far as I know are adamantly anti-Cal. But hey, as long as you're KJVO, you're 'in', thus he, Will Kinney is quoted and 'an authority'.

Then there is the issue of KJVO starting with SDA? I don't know much on this, but this is allegedly where it began. Has anyone else heard of this?

So, what doctrines does the KJV omit?

I do not believe it omits any.

That is not what he said. In fact it is not even remotely close to what he said.

But InTheLight just showed you where the KJV Omits the Holy Spirit, denying inspiration, Removes God as being the Holy One, and omits Christ the Lord.

Here, I will post his quote.

No. There are different translations of particular verses, when taken in isolation, may strengthen or weaken certain doctrines. But taking each translation as a whole there are no missing or differing doctrines.
