For those who may be interested, I have been creating a number of modules for e-Sword that may be downloaded for free at the Immanuel Downloads page.

    http://www.immanuelhomepage.org/Downloads.html

These resources include John Gill's Body of doctrinal and Practical divinity, James P. Boyce's Abstract of Systematic Theology, and works by men such as John Owen, Jonathan Edwards,A.W. Pink, and G.K. Chesterton.

Desiring God Ministries has also graciously permitted me to create modules of John Piper's sermons and to offer them for download. I will be adding two or three new Piper files per week until I have added most of the Piper sermons.

Please let me know if you are interested in a particular work being made available, and I will try to accommodate.

I am glad you have found resources you like! Keep checking back at the Immanuel Downloads page, and you will see new ones added. I usually add new modules on Mondays or Tuesdays.

May help to have a 'Date Added' associated with each Download so we can tell at a glance if you've updated...

    Lots of good stuff...

  5. Gee...thanks!!! [IMG] I have E-Sword on my own computer, and I will be checking your site for this program. [IMG]

I should be adding more Piper files today. I will also be adding J.L. Dagg's Manual of Theology Vol. 1 & 2.

Sorry about that brother! I have been preoccupied with a lot of other things. I have a couple of new Piper files ready, and I am almost finished with J.L. Dagg's Manuel of Theology (Vol. 1&2). I will try to get them up today or tomorrow.

I updated the Immanuel Downloads page earlier today. Here is a complete list of e-Sword Topic Notes files currently available for download:

Note: The sets of messages from John Piper are offered on the Immanuel Downloads page by permission of Desiring God Ministries, who have graciously allowed me to create the Topic Notes files and post them there for download. Please do not post them on another site without first seeking permission from DGM.

    27) John Piper on "Christian Hedonism."

This file consists of fourteen messages by John Piper on "Christian Hedonism." Does this sound odd to you? Then give Piper a hearing, and you will be pleasantly surprised. As Piper says:

"Christian Hedonism is not a contradiction after all. It is desiring the vast, ocean-deep pleasures of God more than the mud-puddle pleasures of wealth, power or lust. We're Christian Hedonists because we believe Psalm 16:11, 'You show me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy, in Your right hand are pleasures for evermore.'

Join us in this pursuit of satisfaction in God, because God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him."
