editor controls

    I can no longer use some of the extra editor controls like smileys, links etc. Anyone have any thoughts as to why this quite working for me?

    If you use firefox, has it updated recently? If so, have you rebooted since?

    My firefox updated week or so ago and this board was flaky plus (couldn't move the cursor to edit things etc.) for a few days then settled down, only thing I had changed was a reboot (Mine runs 24/7)

    Other than that try another browser to see if it is your usual browser.

    I do use firefox and I have rebooted. I tried IE and it did work there. So I have no idea why firefox is having problems.

    You might go to firefox site and see if there is another version. I would guess it is their latest upgrade on yours did something like it did on mine.

    It is only on this site that it happens and only with firefox. With firefox the edit controls work fine on other sites.

    I don't use the editor on here, so I am shooting from the hip.

    Update your Flask, Shockwave, and Java. Make sure no settings have changed in your firewall.

    I use the BBCodeXtra extension for all my forum formatting needs (adds right-click functionality for it), and the Smiley Xtra extension for my non-default smileys. [​IMG]
