Here is the email...
This past week led by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid the Democrat Majority in Congress threw common sense overboard once again, this time passing the $800+ billion dollar "stimulus bill" with not one member having the time to read the entire bill. Not one Republican voted for the bill in the House and only 3 Republicans voted for it in the Senate.
First, you can be certain Huck PAC will not endorse or support the Republican Senators that voted for this bill. It was their choice and they did what they thought was best, but it was the wrong decision and we will not reward it.
Second, I ask you for your financial support immediately of our efforts at Huck PAC.
Our goal is to raise $18,232 within the next 48 hours. We have set a goal of raising $25,000 online for our National Volunteer Team this month and we are this far away from our goal.
Please consider an immediate contribution of $13, $25, $50 or $100 or more today.
I chose $13 because that is the amount of your stimulus refund from President Obama. The President wants you to use it to stimulate the economy I hope you will consider using it to kick the reckless spenders out of Washington.
It is my hope that you will contribute this amount today and help us meet our February online budget weeks ahead of schedule. Doing so, will give us the financial ability to recruit new volunteers on the ground at local GOP events and state conventions (our team is preparing to attend the CA GOP convention this weekend).
When it comes to supporting campaigns financially and with volunteers on the ground, you can also be certain that only strong conservatives will be helped: candidates such as Bob Vander Plaats in Iowa, Bob McDonnell in Virginia and wherever else we find men and women running for office who are willing to hold firm to our Party's principles of fiscal sanity, lower taxes, a strong national defense, the sanctity of life and traditional marriage.
The fight to restore commonsense from your State House to the White House isn't going to be easy. Our opponents are well financed and have the media on their side but what they won't have after the next two years of their leadership is the American people on their side. We need to be ready, to have the infrastructure in place nationwide, to harness this voter anger and transform it into a grassroots wave for Republican change in November 2009 and November 2010.
