I can't help but marvel at how quickly charges of sexual misconduct can be dismissed when it suits the gay and media agenda. 24 hours from charges to exoneration!

1 Samuel 4: 21, "And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel."

It isn't just one single priest from the Episcopalian ranks---its the whole rank itself! For Romans 1: 22-23 states, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptable God into an image made like corruptable man, and birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things."

There's a lot of things creepin' around inside that Episcoplian church!!! And I know one thing its not--its not the glory of God creepin' around!!

God help us! God help us!!

I repeat my call for Episcopal clergy and dioceses to change their affiliation to the oversight of the Anglican Mission in America province operated under the authority of conservative archbishops in Rwanda and East Asia.

The Glory Of GOd is creepin in my chruch. This decision does makes me feel uneasy and uncertain what will happen. The decision does affect episcopalians everywhere, but in my chruch I don't think the effect will be all that great. When I married I attended the catholic chruch a few times ,but didn't feel very welcome. My husband who was raised in the catolic chruch wanted our children raised catholic and I went and did feel how similar the chruchs are.Last night after watching the news and some episcopal bishops upset about the decison and talking about the chruch might spilt I had a thought maybe going back to the catholic chruch. But, I love my chruch and chruch family and my children are very happy there.I guess I will see how things go.A women wrote a email to Bill O' Reilly and said her family was leaving the episcopal chruch. This sunday at chruch will be very interesting.

The gates of hell have prevailed against the Episcopalian Church. I am sorry if this is a blunt truth but that is after all what blatantly allowing sinful behavior to become a part of doctrine. I am quite sure there are episcopalian Churches where you would not feel welcome. But the fact is that Jesus Christ is present in the Eucharist and even if the Cathoilcs there aren't perfect people, he is. Recieve him and believe in his promise to the Church through Peter. I invite you to come home.

    Blessings

    Hi Taufgesinnter,

Maybe you're the last to know, but there is no such thing as "Eastern Orthodoxy". There are a number of national Orthodox churches, which are split amongst one another, unable to hold council due to the lack of ecclesial unity.

Which one, did you say, is the Historic Church?

The Romanian, Russian, Synodal, Coptic, Syrian....?

    MikeS,

Did you read the report on the charges? He touched the man's back and arm while speaking to him in a room full of hundreds of people. I can't count the number of times I've done the same while bending over to hear what someone is saying in a noisy room.

His confirmation is the best news I've heard in months and the answer to much prayer.

Yeah, that's another thing -- publishing not only the charges, but the accuser's name and city! Different rules depending on who's ox is gored, that's all I'm commenting on.

I think it's good news too. I expect we'll be setting out the welcome mats for many of our separated bretheren.

This "appointment" violates God's Law of morality. Lev. 18:22. It ignores the obligations of one who desires to be a bishop. I Tim 3:1-11. It condones a relationship God has never authorized. Gen. 2:24, Mat. 19:4-6. It is an endorsement of a practice that will keep one out of heaven. I Cor. 6:9-11.

They claim that they are the one holy apostolic and catholic church, that Rome is in schism against them, and that they are not divided into denominations, but just have various jurisdictions of primates and patriarchs. I recognize their claim to the extent that they are closer to biblical practice and thought than Roman Catholicism, but only in relatively minor ways.

Actually, Carson, although there are several autocephalous churches under the umbrella of "Eastern Orthodoxy", they all share the same FAITH. The Orthodox merely reject Rome's dubious claim of universal supremacy and papal infallibility, both of which were (much!)later developments.

In regards to the Syrians and the Coptics (among others), they split off from the "undivided church" following Chalcedon in 451 and are not properly classified "Eastern" Orthodox.

The Scripture plainly teaches that this type of behavior is wrong, but to rail against what this church is doing will not change what they believe.

I am sad by this continued apostasy that is so evident, it seems, in all denominations.

    2 Tim 3:13
"while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived."

    Kelly,

Yes to both questions. Our congregation is openly welcoming and affirming of homosexual Christians; and GLBT persons fully participate in the life of the church.

We're part of the Alliance of Baptists, which is specifically welcoming and affirming as well.

    Claryifer please....

Your Church accepts PRACTICING homosexuals as ministers etc...??? There is a difference between being homosexual and being A practicing homosexual.

If you do accept them, please explain how you do so in light of scripture.

Does your church also openly welcome and affirm murder, immorality, fraud, false prophets, liars, etc? Or are you selective in the sins you allow and openly welcome and affirm?

    whuh??

Do you ordain practicing prostitutes for ministry along with prostitution?

Do you ordain practicing homosexuals for ministry along with their practice of homosexuality?

Do you accept the literal truth that in Six Days God created the heavens and the earth the sea and all that is in them - on the sixth day he created Adam and Eve and that that ALONE constitutes marriage?

    In Christ,

    Bob
