Can't get to ETS this year. Wish I could, though.

    Haven't been in many years.

Anyone else think that the ETS has changed in recent years? I'm not sure how well it reflects me any longer.

    ETS Attendance

    Just FYI!

I attended the Regional Mtg. here in the Mid South in W. TN at Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis in April of this year.

I gave a paper that was a chapter from the Broadus book, John A. Broadus: A Living Legacy, that Dr. David Dockery and I co-edited. The Chapter title was: "John A. Broadus, Rhetoric, and A Treatise on the Preparation and Delivery of Sermons."

Now since I have made that "paid political announcement," all of you need to go out and pick up a copy of this work and read it for Baptist History's sake, Baptist Leadership's sake, and Baptist denominational sake.

If you do not know who Broadus was, you will after you read this new work. His influence is wide and his memory has been lost. He was a prime shaker and mover of Baptists in the 19th Century.

    Enjoy!

    "That is all!"

That is encouraging. We used Broadus in first year homiletics and it was valuable!

Thanks for sharing. And kudos on your work.
