    Exxon CEO Advocates Emissions Tax

By RUSSELL GOLD and IAN TALLEY

The chief executive of Exxon Mobil Corp. for the first time called on Congress to enact a tax on greenhouse-gas emissions in order to fight global warming.

In a speech in Washington, Rex Tillerson said that a tax was a "more direct, a more transparent and a more effective approach" to curtailing greenhouse gases than other plans popular in Congress and with the incoming Obama administration.

This tax will hurt only the poor. Exxon's CEO will never even feel it's effect. A poor family that must spend money for a car that is not up to the standard will be put under more stress just to provide for their families needs.

And then the rich will only have freedom of movement. Making the general public subservient to the graces of government..

America is getting herself ready to follow the Anti-Christ right to hell. With a little help from both major parties.

From a corporate standpoint, it makes a lot of sense. It would be a lot more transparent, and...

It won't cost EXXON a penny.
