For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead. James 2:26 (HCSB)

Faith has an object. Objective person in Christ or objective truth in the Word.

Presumption has just feeling or assumptions. Product of our mind, not an outside authority.

    Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

When all else fails, look it up. (Noah Webster 1828)

Assent of the mind based upon credible evidence.

Faith - Something you do without knowing the outcome.

Presumption- What you think will happen when you don't have faith :D
