And now, the feds are being challenged, based on their own report that while nobody's rights in this case were violated, there is a racist atmosphere in the force.

Since the feds found nothing to guilt the officer why was it that they even looked into the department as a whole? what justification did they have to do an investigation at all.Aside from the over reach of the feds it appears they were on a witch hunt to find anything they could to save face.

Someone needs to carry the blame for the riots. It certainly will not be the rioters themselves.

Is that what you think this is about? The riots? You think this is an attempt to blame the police for the riots? I think it's about fixing a polarized community that lives in mutual fear of one another to the benefit of both the police/courts and the community. Surely you can agree that the current arrangement serves nobody adequately. Things are not ok there. Right?

The Michael Brown story was talked about ad nauseam. The riots were talked about ad nauseam. How come everybody wants to change the subject when we take a look at the other side? I like you Rolf but I am curious as to why facing this report openly meets so much resistance. Was it a political play by Holder? Who knows. I wouldn't put it past him. But don't get mad at him when that town's police department and local courts gave him paydirt. You should be just as irritated at them for allowing him to extend his platform.
