Finally finished my Northeastern Europe travel articles

    Thanks. I would love to go back some time but those countries are too expensive and, at that time, plenty cold.

    I've not made it to those counties, but 6 years ago we visited Norway, where my wife's grandparents were born. Our 10-day itinerary went from Oslo to Trondheim and back, staying close to the western Fjords. The state in which I live has spectacular scenery, but that of Norway is beyond anything I'd seen before. Some of the best fish dinners and breakfast arrays I ever hope to enjoy, too.
    Icelandic Air's no-extra-airfare deal also allowed us to have a couple excellent days there before finishing the eastbound leg.

    Sounds like you had a great trip! We would have loved to go to Norway but couldn't swing it.
