This week has witnessed a new low in the spiritual temperature of the UK with gay perverts getting "married"; it has been on the front pages of all the daily papers and that pervert Elton John got "married" to his "partner". This wickedness is going to bring down a severe judgement on the UK. Please pray that the Christians would be bold in speaking out against this abomination.

    Kind regards to all.

Wasn't the wedding of Charles and Camilla the first gay wedding in the UK?

I'm all for gay weddings. My own wedding was a gay wedding. What's there not to be happy about?

Robert & Gwyneth, it's really good to see some true God-fearing Christians speak out against this.

In 2004, every state that was allowed to vote on this abomination, voted to ban them. I hope someday we can vote on abortion, America's shame.

In order to bring a few more thoughts into this discussion let me explain that in the 1960s both Abortion and Sodomy were legalised. About that time we had a serious outbreak of Foot and Mouth disease; we then had nearly 30 years of IRA terrorism; when this died down we had another Foot and Mouth epidemic. Once that passed we had Al Qaeda and 7/7. I cannot help thinking that GOd has permitted these calamities as a judgement on the UK. If that is the case then we are in for a terrible time; I have this awful sense of foreboding that a catastrophe is about to strike in this country.

    Kind regards to all.

Yet, this is exactly the kind of solution President Bush supports. In his infamous interview (was it with Howard K. Smith?) last election he said he favoured legalised homosexual civil unions. That is all these things are. Robert properly used inverted commas in saying "marriages." In the US these are civil unions. What is the difference between between a marriage and a civil union in legal terms?

Since the first of these took place in Northern Ireland the Irish state is also looking into legalising them.

A sad day for the UK indeed. The saddest irony I thought was that Northern Ireland, the last part of the UK in which homosexual behaviour was legalised, was the first part to have these 'civil unions'. Now, most of you know that I'm not usually a fan of Big Ian, but I thought that what his colleagues did the other day was spot on; shame the Big Guy couldn't have made it himself (I guess ill health prevented him).

The real tragedy is that it has infected the church: a lesbian so-called 'Reverend' 'married' her partner in Brighton the other day.
